Upcoming producer, MizzHitzBeatz, gets Co Signed by Bossman Dlow

What’s your real name & producer name?
My real name is Desiree but I go by MizzHitzBeatz.
My producer name comes from inspiration I received back in the Soundclick days. There was a production group that consisted of Superstar O, Johnny Juliano and VybeBeats and they went by TeamHitz.
At the time I wanted to be the first female producer in the group so I went with MizzHitzBeatz and just stuck with it over the years.
Where are you from?
I was born in Cleveland, Ohio but I currently live in Fort Myers, Florida. I am just now making it a year in living in Florida. I also previously lived in Memphis, Tennessee for some time with my brother J. Hicks to work on music. My roots are also heavily based out of New Orleans. My grandparents were born there and moved to Cleveland once my grandfather Eugene Bremer started playing in the Negro League for the Cleveland Buckeyes.
When did you get started making beats?
I started making beats around 14 when I was in school. There was a game on the Xbox called MTV Music Generator 3 that I used to used to make beats before I found FL Studio.
What and who inspired you to be a producer?
The movie Drumline really inspired me. I used to beat on books with pencils like it was a snare drum and practice the routines in the movie. I had asked my mother to buy me a snare drum and she said no because it was too loud so I ended up finding the demo version of FL Studio and MTV Generator on Xbox and going from there. I actually started out making Reggaeton beats for Spanish artists instead of rap and hip hop. I was heavily inspired by artists such as Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Ivy Queen and Reggaeton producers Luny Tunez and Tainy.
Who’s your favorite producer?
My overall favorite producer is Missy Elliot. She has paved the way and it’s only right I give her the flowers she deserves. However, currently my favorite producer right now is DDotFreezing.
Tell me a little about your producing style
My production style is heavily inspire by the Detroit sound. Living in Cleveland so close to Detroit, my sound was influenced by some of my favorite artists from there. Cleveland is a 2 hours drive to Detroit so the cities are like close cousins.
My sound involves a lot of dark pianos, strings, bells and of course a hard 808!
I see that have a co sign from Boss Man Dlow! Tell me how that made you feel
It made me feel like I’m on the right track and accomplishing goals. I’m new to Florida so I have been working on networking and developing my presence in the state as a producer. Shout out to Bossman Dlow for the love!
What are your goals as a producer in the music industry?
I would love to make it as a billboard charting producer. A Grammy is the ultimate goal. In my eyes, winning a Grammy is like winning a championship. I already have the winning blood in me so it’s only right I bring home a Grammy in the near future. I’m destined for greatness. My grandfather Eugene Bremer was a 4x All Star and World Series Champion in Major Negro League baseball. It’s only right I continue to make history for the family and get that Grammy!
What producers & artists would you like to work with in the future?
As far as producers, I would like to work with Rocaine, DDotFreezing, and Southside. As far as artists go, I would like to work with Doe Boy, Icewear Vezzo, Bossman DLow, Babyface Ray and Rob49.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
In the next 5 years I see myself even more successful in the music industry but also expanding outside of music into the Information Technology sector. Tech is my second love. I am currently studying to receive a few Cybersecurity certifications. In 5 years I would love to have my own Cybersecurity Consulting Firm and building from there.
What do you wish to accomplish in the music industry?
I wish to work with some of my favorite artists and make billboard charting records and even a Grammy. I hope to inspire others and that my music can open doors for not only me but others as well. I pray that God uses me as a vessel to bless others with the gifts he has bestowed upon me while I am on this journey.
