Look How Far I Have Come

Being positive means believing you are an amazing being. As you look at each step as a milestone you have accomplished you will realize just how amazing you are. As long as you, and you alone believe in yourself nothing else matters.

Where Do I Begin? Starting Point

Yes, it is hard to imagine that one day you will think differently. However, I am going to challenge everyone who reads this to do this and share with others. Think of this as a challenge that you will win.

Rule number one there is no such thing as you are not enough. You are more than enough. You might not live up to certain people's standards, and that is OK. If you are happy that is all that counts. Now I am not saying be mean to someone, cheat in something or on someone, or do anything bad. What I am saying is that if you are someone who likes to be a part of the puzzle and do not know how to quite fit this could be a way.

Rule number two you are who you are and right now it might not seem to be enough, but trust me, it is. You do not have to shape yourself the way others want you to look. You do not have to dress the way people want you to dress. You do not have act a certain way that you are not used to just to fit in. People like you for who you are, not who you are to become. The only thing you really need to change is how you feel about yourself.

Rule number three try this challenge with an open heart and mind. Believe in every obstacle you have overcome, every time you feel great, and everytime someone acknowedges you for being you. It really is OK to be happy. I promise when you visually see these steps with your accomplishments, or something good that happened that day you will start to think differently.

Goal of This Article

It is said that if you are constantly surrounded by negativity that is all you will be able to see. If you are constantly put down that is all you will know. If you are a person that cannot remember the last time someone complimented you it is hard to imagine that even exist. So lets turn that around, and start seeing, hearing, and believing more positive thoughts. Watch what happens.

Each step on your staircase will represent something nice that happened to you. Something positive you felt that day. Something that gave you a great feeling. Got you thinking of something great. Whatever it is this step will not just be words there will be feelings attached to it. Everytime you write something on your steps it will make you feel better. After you have accomplished so many steps you will look back and think, "Wow, I feel better. I am really doing something that is making be happier." You honestly will not believe how awesome you are.

Also, with this you will be thinking about finding more positive things. I used examples like, I found my keys today, my coffee was great, the MBTA was not late, traffic was not bad, someone said hello to me today, I had a great conversation with a complete stranger, etc.

Please do this if. You cannot change how others treat you, how others view you, how people act towards you, or things they say to you. However, you can control yourself. You can control how you feel, how you act, and how you respond. You can also control your hurt. The better you feel the less hurt you will feel.

Lets' make ourselves less stressed.
