The difference between you and a rich man

Based on my experience

By lily jPublished 4 years ago 4 min read

Before I start writing, I apologize for a pretty provocative title first and try to start.

It's quite conventional, but there are people in this world who are rich and often we called rich. I'm still young, but I've been thinking steadily about how to become like them and I'm still thinking.

I was really curious. What's the difference between them and me? What is the difference between you and Warren Buffett, Dan Pena, Bill Gates, and Elon Musk?

Fortunately, there were a lot of wealthy people around me who lived financially relaxed. So I could more clearly distinguish and compare myself and those people. To be honest, I was able to learn a lot from them. In a way, it could be very conventional, you might have heard it somewhere at least once. Please focus and watch. And learning this through writing, whether you read it or hear it or someone teaches you, I hope you can see, copy, and practice it yourself.

What do rich people have in common?

1. Rich people are diligent.

As I mentioned earlier, it may sound cliche, but they are diligent. Let's give the opposite example in this part. Taking lazy people, for example, they like to be comfortable and safe. They try to do everything easily. If you like something comfortable, you can never succeed. You have to enjoy the challenge. You will know better than anyone that there is nothing easy in the world. But even though they know that they want to make money without working and try to get more money than they worked. Rich people constantly move to achieve what they want. One day, a rich acquaintance asked me. "If you were given 86,400 dollars a day, would you spend it all or throw it away?" Unspent money disappears the next day. Of course, I said I would spend even a dollar unconditionally, and the acquaintance said he would. Then he asked me again what I would think if the money was time. We are given 84,600 seconds a day. No one would throw it away when converted into money. However, when calculated by time, people don't think much of it. The rich think of this time as money. And they think spending time in vain is like wasting money. You may think everyone knows, but they work and live to keep this time a little more thorough than ordinary people. If you don't want to move to achieve what you want to achieve, it would be better to give up being rich.

2. They enjoy giving to others.

I'm not talking about giving out from economic relaxation. They try to give even a small consideration. In short, they are not selfish. We think rich people are very cold and only know about money, but they are not. At least the rich people around me were people who knew how to give and took care of family, friends, and acquaintances more warmly than anyone else. They live as if it were natural and think that it was right. If you say that you are selfish and that I was born like this, that may be true. But let's not stop there and constantly think about how I can change. If you think that you share a little more time and money with the precious people around you, it will return to us several times

3. They are positive.

What I want to say strongly in this part is the connection between worry and positive. We often see people around us who have a lot of worries, and to be honest, my mother was one of the people who had a lot of worries. Since I was young, I hated that so much. But now I'm not just trying to hate it, I'm trying to fix my personality. As a result of observing economically relaxed people around me, there was no negative person. This part is also linked to laziness. People with a lot of worries worry about something before starting it. You may often think that you are a perfectionist, but I don't think so. This is because I think there is a big difference between delaying work because of worries and perfectionist who wants perfect things. It doesn't mean to see everything beautiful. I just want to say "You can do it."

4. Find a countermeasure. (Try to solve the problem)

What is the countermeasure? We say that measures and methods that can be solved when there is a problem are countermeasures. Here, the positive power is exerted 100%, and negative people first find a way not to do it. In other words, they don't even intend to take measures. However, positive people first identify the problem and, importantly, make more efforts to come up with countermeasures without worrying about it. Here, when comparing the two, a positive person can save an enormous amount of time. And of course, the efficiency of work increases.

5. Be a real pervert.

Be a perv of life, not a perv of sexual desire. It may sound very strange, but I think those who are willing to stay up all night to achieve what they want(whether it's a task or a test score), and then feel thrilled with the results that come out, or who don't want a safe way, are true pervs. If you live passionately with a little more interest and affection in your life, the moments will surely come when those efforts repay you.

+ Thank you so much for reading! This is my first article. I just want to let you know, I'm not a native English speaker, so there may be parts where the writing is not smooth or the interpretation is strange. However, I love writing so much and I am so happy to communicate with readers. I hope you understand generously and please show your support! Thanks :)
