“Somewhere Out There”
Somewhere out there right now a flower rejoices because you decided to water it.
Somewhere a dog remembers your scent and the delicate touch you gave it when bending down for a moment.
Somewhere a wish gave itself life when you whispered it into the universe.
Somewhere out there a thousand ants eat tonight because you tossed away crumbs that you considered trash.
And there you are now, slumping in your chair sighing heavily at the uneasy day behind you. Not knowing that somewhere out there, fellow man decided to give his life another go because of a smile you exchanged in passing. Even if you lied through your teeth.
Somewhere out there is a flower so beautiful you will one day come across it and realize the beautiful in life. That same flower someone out there once watered.
