3 Things I'm Grateful For As I Settle Back Into A Routine

I completed the first week of my writing course

Last week, I joined Writing Launch. I was excited to get stuck in to their courses and learn from their expertise.

I've enjoyed the course so far and have found it really helpful.

I tried scripting

I’ve read about scripting as a manifestation technique before and wanted to give it a try. The idea is that you write down what you wish to manifest as if you already have it. I’ve been writing mine as though it’s a diary entry. It’s actually quite fun, so I’ll continue to do it.

I did some baking

I do enjoy cooking and I think for a while, I’ve been living and breathing writing, when I’m not doing it, I’m thinking about doing it, so it was nice to take some time to do something other than writing.

What are you grateful for this week? ❤️

3 Small Intentions I’m Setting This Week To Achieve My Long Term Goals

Exercise

I’ve scheduled in 3 exercise sessions for this week. I plan to get my gym wear and equipment ready the night before so I’m ready to get up and go.

I’ve got a yoga, strength and the dreaded cardio booked in.

Complete 8 sessions of my writing course

I want to squeeze in as many of the courses as I can. The one I currently have is for 6 weeks but I only have one month free so I need to absorb as much as I can whilst I don’t have any income.

Again, I’m going to schedule these sessions as I would a meeting and treat them with the same importance.

Drink 2 litres of water per day

I managed to get back into this habit before going away and now it’s slipped again.

I always drink a lot more when exercising so that should help me along nicely.

What are your intentions for this week? ❤️

Setting Boundaries, A New Lost? & Asking For Help - 5 Things I've Seen & Heard This Week

If you struggle with setting boundaries

Boundaries are hugely important to everyone not only should we be putting them in place, but we should also be mindful of the boundaries of others.

Happiful has The Ultimate Guide To Establishing Healthy Relationship Boundaries it covers family, friendship & romantic relationships.

If you were a fan of Lost

Then you absolutely must watch From.

It starts with the Matthews family who is on a trip in their motorhome when the road ahead is blocked by a fallen tree. When they turn around, they find themselves in a small, rural town and they can’t seem to drive away from it.

You can find it on the Sky Sci-fi channel, It even has Michael from Lost in it. Let’s just hope it has a better ending! The husband and I have watched the first series and there is another to be released next year

If you are looking for a journal and mood tracker all rolled into one

Look no further than 750 Words. Yes, I’ve spoken about this a lot this week but that’s only because of the positive impact it has had.

I’m missing the relief of therapy and being able to write down all my thoughts and feelings in complete privacy and then have an overview of what those look like is perfect. You can also get an overview of what the month's emotions were.

I’ve also joined their September challenge of writing 750 every day in September

If you struggle to get it all done on your own

I hate asking for help. I think a lot of us take on certain responsibilities in life and then it’s just forever assumed by everyone, including ourselves, that it’s our job.

How To Ask For Help from Psychologies magazine reminds us that this is not the case and that we don’t have to take on everything.

If you’re looking for a different kind of horror film

Nope is a must-see. In all honestly, I had no idea what this was about, I just knew that Jordan Peele had brought us Get Out and Us, which I loved.

The synopsis doesn’t give anything away and as usual, neither will I, you will just have to see for yourself. It’s out at cinemas now.

Song of the day

And as always, here is this week's playlist, in case you missed it.
