Meet musically talented King Muatchi

Baptista M. Muatchitanga, professionally known as King Muatchi, is a musician and songwriter originally from Angola(Moxico/Luena). He was born on May 3, 1985.

Tell us about you sir, we’d love to get to know you!:

Rapper, Entrepreneur and activist, grew up in Alvalade, Cassenda Angola/Luanda.

In 1985, which was the time I was born, my family was forced to activate a province of Moxico through the armed conflict that existed at that time, and unfortunately, that time ended with the loss of my father.

And it was in the year 1994 in the Alvalade neighborhood in Luanda, at Rua Comandante Gika building number 41 (basement) where the taking the first steps in the Rap/Hiphop World was baptized.

In life I drew dolls, graffiti and wrote songs in English through pronunciation. Few were able to have a satellite dish at home, my neighbors and I would catch the signal from it with a pot lid, where we could watch the channels (channel O, Record, magic film, Super Sport and MNet, among others). As mentioned in all those television channels mentioned above, I became more attached to the Chanel O channel, which served as my passport to enter to the world of music, and without forgetting the radio frequency (96.5 program made in Portuguese by Moises Luis) where I listened to artists rappers like (Black Company, Boss Ac, Afroman among, Ssp and others). Even at the time I was a mere listener of the rap style, and as part of the time I interpreted it as songs by some Lusophone Anglophone rappers. It was in the year 2000 that I recorded my first song and started to understand that music is my passion, and in the studio "3Dimensões" founded by me and my cousin Filomena Alves Rodrigues, also known as "FAV". Since then being called B2M & FAV or even the "PIMP" lol.

And why they carried out the studio of what they finished, to get rid of why he studies in South Africa. And even with this setback, I continued with the music and as a result of that, I linked myself to a friend where I didn't stay for long because he didn't like the format very much like, if equal to there. I continued my projects and joined the brothers (Xpiraculo, Andronico, Enciclopédia Negra, Grimafia, Kadaxtro, Verbo Bucks and Kid Mc) and together we formed the Group "MadNiggaz Crew" or "Empire of Geniuses"

Currently I have more than 15 works released, from mixtapes and Ep. K.O volume1, K.O volume2, Organized Crime, Mais Flow and Different from you equal to me) & EP Sauce, Ep 2words and 1 number and Ep The Empress & The Emperor. Two entirely in English and one in Portuguese. And recently I released the album “King Muatchi” where there are songs in English and Portuguese, it was made available for free on social networks. And you can also see the photos on digital platforms.

Wait to check out his works, available on all digital platforms. Some of his biggest influences are artists Nas and Lil Wayne, and entrepreneurs like Diddy, Jay Z, Kayne and others. He strives to also be an inspiration to many people and always in a positive way. He is also open to collaborations with other talented artists and wants to partner with honest, like-minded artists and entrepreneurs.
