Lina And The Talking Star
A Little Girl With Big Dreams

In a small village called Blue Sky, there lived a kind and curious girl named Lina. She was 10 years old and loved to watch the stars at night.
While other children were playing or sleeping, Lina would sit near her window, looking at the sky and dreaming about space.
She often said, “One day, I will fly to the stars.”
Her parents smiled, thinking it was just a child’s dream. But Lina truly believed that something magical lived in the sky.
The Night of the Falling Star
One cold night, the sky was full of stars. Lina sat near her window with a blanket wrapped around her.
Suddenly, she saw a bright light falling from the sky. It was a shooting star, but this one was different.
It was not fast like others. It seemed to move slowly — and it fell into the forest behind her house!
Lina’s eyes grew wide.
“I have to go see it!” she whispered.
She quietly put on her shoes, took a flashlight, and walked into the forest.
A Surprise In The Woods
The forest was dark and quiet. Lina followed the light until she saw a small glowing ball sitting on the grass.
It was not hot or scary. It looked like a tiny star, shining softly.
As Lina came closer, the ball opened like a flower. Inside was a small glowing creature — no bigger than her hand. It had eyes like diamonds and a soft voice.
“Hello, Lina,” the creature said.
Lina gasped. “You can talk?”
“Yes,” it smiled. “I am a talking star. I came from the sky because I heard your wish.”
Lina couldn’t believe it. “You heard me? But I only dream and wish.”
“Dreams are loud in the sky,” said the star. “And yours was the loudest.”
A New Friend From The Sky
The star told Lina its name was Nova. Nova had a job in the sky — to listen to the dreams of children and help the ones with the kindest hearts.
“You dream big, Lina. But you also care about others. That’s why I’m here.”
Lina smiled. “What happens now?”
“I want to show you the stars,” Nova said.
Before Lina could say a word, she felt her feet leave the ground. Nova made her float into the sky, higher and higher, past the trees, the clouds, and the moon!
A Trip Through The Stars
Lina flew with Nova through space. They passed shining planets, rings of ice, and glowing comets.
She saw space whales swimming in silence and shooting stars playing hide-and-seek.
Nova showed her a library made of light where stories from Earth floated in the air.
Lina read tales written by other dreamers like her — children who wished for peace, love, and joy.
Nova said, “These stories make the universe happy.”
The Sad Star
As they flew further, Nova became quiet.
“What’s wrong?” Lina asked.
“There’s a star that is losing its light,” said Nova. “It’s feeling sad because no one dreams about kindness anymore.”
“Can I help it?” Lina asked.
“Yes. If you speak from your heart, your words can bring back its light.”
They flew to the dark star. It was cold and gray. Lina walked up to it and said:
“Dear star, you are not alone. I believe in kindness. I believe in light. Please shine again.”
Slowly, the star began to glow — first dim, then brighter, and finally, it lit up the whole sky. Nova clapped its tiny hands.
“You did it, Lina!”
The Return Home
After the adventure, it was time to return. Nova brought Lina back to her house. The sun was rising, and the birds had started singing.
“Will I see you again?” Lina asked.
Nova smiled. “Whenever you dream with love, I’ll be near.”
Then, with a twinkle, Nova disappeared.
Lina’s New Mission
Lina never forgot her night with the talking star. She began writing stories about space, dreams, and kindness.
She shared them at school, at the library, and with kids in other villages.
People started dreaming again. They smiled more, helped each other, and believed in magic.
Years later, Lina became an author and wrote a book called:
“The Girl Who Spoke to the Stars.”
In the first page, she wrote:
“Dreams are louder than you think. Never stop wishing, never stop caring.”
