Learning from Experience

Experience is the best form of education.

In life, some people are so low down and selfish. Its financially related. Sexually related. Or they do something just because they feel like they can. I’m pulling out all the stops on this one so be prepared.

First, we are going to start with men. Why do you seem to think that sex moves mountains? What is between your legs and your mouth can only get you so far in life. Think with your upper and not your lower. It only lasts for so long before the bottom falls out. Everything falls out after a while. Do better. Be better.

Women, same goes for us. We use our bodies as weapons, and we don’t have to. There is more to life than that. Respect yourself more and know that its not all about that. Do better. Be better. And don’t allow anyone, not just a man, to make you feel less important than what you are. You are beautiful, you don’t have to change yourself for anyone. Change what you choose to and because you want to.

Here comes the showdown: financial wars. Alimony. Child support. I’m going in hard on this one. If you are married and its going south, once you start that divorce, lay it out on the table. Who needs to pay what should be established, walk away. People need to be mature, set boundaries and keep it moving. Set up alimony payments, established custody with the children and don’t try to pit the children against each other. Sometimes that happens on its own but don’t press the issue. Children react in different ways when parents separate for various reasons.

The almighty topic: child support. Well, well. I’m going in hard on this one. To the mothers, if you can’t make ends meet, you have no stable income or you have to depend on family, then yes, you need it. Just because he’s the father and you feel that’s his obligation, then okay. I say this boldly, get mad if you want to.

If you have sufficient income or more than sufficient income, regardless of the situation at hand and those kids don’t have any significant needs, that’s cheating the system. Know why? You sit up here, full-time job, steady income but you want the baby daddy to pay you because? You, ma’am are selfish. Court-ordered child support is fine, if he is being compliant or has the means to do so. But if he doesn't have the means to do so, then that's different.

But if you are sitting here, having sex with the baby daddy, buying things for him, calling him and acting like his best friend, that’s lowdown. Why do you need his money, if you spending yours on him? Don’t you think that’s a little redundant? Apparently, your thinking isn’t too good. You are spending your money but you want his. Make it make sense. Especially, if you know he doesn’t have any so you really are redundant. How are you going to get money that doesn’t exist?

Everything in life happens for a reason. We don’t understand what that reason may be, but there is one. Some people can't withstand the curve balls that life throws at them while others take their lives because they can’t bear everything that has happened to them.

Last thing, the mind is a terrible thing to waste. That is a very true statement. Keep your mind focused on something that will help you in life. Our lives are not planned so we need to watch the decisions we make, who we are around and what we do. Bad decisions, severe consequences.

To end my story, I say this: Actions speak louder than words, people go by what you do. Don’t give people anything to talk about, be the best version of you.
