Jared Eck Believes If you’re struggling to stay committed and get results, you aren’t alone. The truth is that many people want to be successful and they want to accomplish their goals and dreams, but few can actually stick with it long enough to see results. Even fewer are able to keep going after the first few results come in, despite the fact that it can take years of consistent effort before significant progress is made. If you have been considering giving up on your dream, consider these seven tips for staying committed and getting results instead.

Set Goals and Time Frames

Jared Eck says that one of the biggest reasons why people don’t achieve their goals is because they aren’t specific enough. The solution is to set clear, attainable goals and time frames. It’s important to have a goal that you can easily measure your progress towards. This way, you will be able to see how well you are doing at achieving your goals. Make sure that when setting your goals, you take into account both short-term and long-term results. Without knowing what results are expected in both areas, it will be difficult for you to stay committed to achieving them.

Jared Eck also believes that if your goal doesn’t provide an exact measurement of success or failure, then it isn’t specific enough for you to reach it with any level of certainty. That being said, make sure that when setting goals and time frames for yourself, there is some wiggle room built in so that if something comes up along the way or if life gets in the way you still have an opportunity to complete them within a reasonable amount of time.

Take Consistent Action

We all know that without consistent action, we’ll never achieve our goals. Consistency is one of those secret sauce ingredients that can make or break your success. In fact, research shows that goal-oriented people who consistently work towards their goals are more successful at achieving them. According to Jared Eck Consistency can be a difficult concept to master though and it's easy to slip up and not take action even when you're super motivated or on fire.

Jared Eck Believes that one should work on Removing Distractions

It’s easy to put things off when you have a lot going on. Distractions come in many forms gossiping, meetings, and playing games on your phone, and can take over your day if you let them. The next time you find yourself facing multiple tasks or activities, remove distractions by putting away your phone, turning off notifications on your computer, closing social media sites, and giving only limited attention to non-work-related conversations. By focusing just on one task at a time, you are more likely to get results with less stress.

It's OK To Change Your Mind

One of my favorite quotes is from “Thomas Edison, who said: Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up”. When you're focused on a goal or a vision, it can be easy to lose sight of other important priorities and goals. If you don't see progress or feel like you've hit a plateau, it's OK to change your mind. It doesn't mean that you quit and give up. You recognize that there are other important aspects in your life that need attention, so you refocus on those as well. This will help prevent burnout and allow you to move forward with more passion than ever before!

Set Yourself Up For Success

One of the biggest reasons people fail to meet their goals is because they don’t give themselves enough time to succeed. A good way to do that is by setting yourself up for success. For example, if you want to eat healthier, fill your fridge with healthy foods so that you’re more likely to make a good choice when hunger strikes. Or if you want to get organized, set aside time every day even if it’s just 15 minutes to declutter your home. These small steps will go a long way toward building new habits that lead to success in all areas of life.

Jared Eck says if you can commit to doing something daily, you’ll find yourself being successful at a lot more than just one thing. If you struggle with making consistent progress on an important goal, try adding a second goal or project that isn’t as important but still requires commitment. That way, when things are going well with one project, it will be easier to stick with it instead of giving up on both projects at once

Be Willing To Take Action No Matter What

As much as we all like to fantasize about having our lives figured out, that’s just not reality. There will always be situations in life that take us off course, but those who succeed in life are those who remain willing to move forward no matter what happens. For example, if your plan was to work at your dream job from 9-5 every day and you have an unexpected emergency that causes you to leave at noon each day for a month, you can’t sit around feeling sorry for yourself or thinking it’s impossible to get anything done. Those kinds of thoughts will only slow down your progress toward your goal. If you really want something in life, then stay committed and get results by going after it no matter what gets in your way!

Take Time to Celebrate Your Progress

It’s easy to get so focused on what you need to do next that you forget to celebrate your successes. Make a point of acknowledging your small accomplishments every day, whether it’s hitting your step count or just completing a few tasks on your to-do list. Giving yourself credit will boost motivation, build self-confidence, help you see what works, and increase productivity plus it just feels good! Keep track of how you spend your time.

According to Jared Eck Time is one of our most precious resources and yet we often don’t treat it as such. In fact, in an average week, most people waste at least an hour each day by doing things like checking social media too frequently or aimlessly surfing online. Take control of your time by tracking how you spend it.
