It Only Takes One Thought
But first, you have to THINK
Everybody wants to change something. It’s either themselves, someone else, or the world in general. CHANGE… It’s the catalyst to success or disaster. Which is most often your result?
In this series, we’re going to practice thinking. Don’t run away! I promise this will be both brief and painless — I hope.
One thought, which can also be a question, to ponder or meditate throughout the day. Will it make a profound difference in your life? Maybe, or maybe not. You’re unique, so I can’t answer for you.
Here we go. Why did you get up this morning?
No, don’t laugh. I’m serious. Why did you get up this morning? If you can’t answer this question in-depth, don’t expect to accomplish much, certainly not success.
It’s time to THINK…
# 2 — Here we go.
Might the secret of a successful life be the elevation of the purpose you choose?
Key points to ponder: Focus your perspective and broaden your insight as you meditate on how each of these aspects is vital.

Motivation
Elevation
It’s time to THINK…
# 3
Have you ever considered if the things that matter the most in your life are controlled by the things that matter the least? Do you have the courage to reverse the process for one week?
It’s time to THINK…

Is HOPELESS really hopeless? NOT if you get rid of the less…
It’s true, in some cases, hopelessness stems from circumstances that limit our ability to take action in a way that we want.
So have you considered removing the ‘less’ and replacing it with ‘more’?
As long as we linger on the ‘less’ we’ll stay weak and inactive. There is always room for some action on our part. It may start with adjusting our perception, attitude, and willingness to step outside our comfort zone.
Think about this: Your helplessness can be overcome by helping another to overcome their helplessness.
It’s a thought that can lead to EMPOWERMENT.
It’s Time to Think…

Is your existence purposeful?
Ponder this question, not from your personal view or perspective, but from a higher plane of thought. Is your existence, or that of any other human, a product of chance? If that premise were true, would there be a need for purpose?
Now, consider this. What purpose does Earth’s water cycle serve? What purpose is there in the wind? Are the tiny seeds driven by wind and water purposeful?
If inanimate things such as water, wind, and seeds have a profound purpose, would you not more so, being a living, thinking, and feeling creation?
It’s Time to Think…

Have you ever wondered if the question WHY has any power? Consider the following thought.
Nothing is more humble than asking someone a simple “why” question. The “why” removes all pretense, all trappings of expertise, all expectations that you have the answers, and places all of that power into the hands of the person who is being asked the question. Source
Humility can be a powerful force for change, improvement, and self-help.
When was the last time you asked a sincere and humble WHY?

What are the benefits of taking the time to think deeply and purposefully
Here is a brief list of benefits that I've experienced
1. Helps me focus on the acutual issue at hand
2. Reminds me to review and adjust my true purpose or goals, if needed.
3. Strenghtens my will to implement my decisions.
4. Brings to the surface aspects of the issue that I might have otherwise overlooked.
5. Eliminates impulsive decision making
6. Helps me see the possibility of success more clearly
