"You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems." - James Clear

Life is really quite simple.

On any given day, we get 24 hours, 1,440 minutes, 86,400 seconds, and about 50,000 thoughts.

What we do with each hour, minute, second, and thought either sets us on a path to success or on a path to failure.

Creating millionaire habits is simply about filling up more hours, minutes, seconds, and thoughts with healthy, successful, and meaningful habits whilst letting go of any self-sabotaging, procrastinating ones. That's it.

Then soon after that, success is inevitable.

So, here are 6 millionaire habits that you can start cultivating today.

1. See bigger than your current reality

A millionaire dares to dream big. They see past the perimeters of their current reality and look into the vast infinite space of possibility that holds growth and evolution.

They step out of their comfort zone because they know that's where the magic happens.

They visualise, dream, imagine and feel what it would be like to have the life that they've always wanted. This is the power of manifestation. This is what the Secret is all about.

They then cultivate daily habits that support their vision.

"Your beliefs become your thoughts. Your thoughts become your words. Your words become your actions. Your actions become your habits. Your habits become your values. Your values become your destiny" - Mahatma Gandhi

2. Cultivate daily habits that support your vision

Unless you're an ascended master who can manifest things instantaneously, you're likely going to have to work towards your goals like the rest of us.

What we think, say, and do on a daily basis greatly determines what we become. And because life is just a number of days in a row, what we fill them up with greatly determines the quality of our life.

So, with your millionaire dream vision in mind - what can be done today to support you? What does your body need? What does your mind need? What does your spirit need? How do you want to feel in this life? What do you need to do to make it happen?

As a full-time writer, I need a few key daily components that support the life I want to live. Here they are:

  • Breathwork practice in the morning
  • Icy ocean swim or cold shower
  • Write for 4 hours a day
  • Once a week I go to a Kundalini yoga class and twice a week I go to a boxing class in the evening.

This sets me up to feel good in my body, have a clear, focused mind, and connects me to my spirit, all of which help me to keep doing what I love to do.

"Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become. No single instance will transform your beliefs, but as the votes build up, so does the evidence of your new identity" - James Clear

By seeing the bigger picture, we can align our thoughts, emotions, and actions with our higher self who already has achieved what we're wanting to achieve. Then, after some time, the two merge into a beautiful embrace.

3. Improve yourself by just 1% every day

This follows on wonderfully from the two above. By seeing and holding a vision in mind and then creating daily rituals and habits that support it to come true, it suddenly does.

Massive inroads can be made by taking tiny incremental steps forward every day.

"The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and starting on the first one." - Mark Twain

The 1% rule is so powerful because it makes tasks easy to complete. This then creates a feeling of being on purpose which creates excitement to want to keep going. The rest just flows from that point.

4. Capture as many ideas down as you can

Everything that exists in the world, whether it be a rocket ship, a car, the internet, shoes, or a light bulb, first belonged as an idea in someone's head. It's crazy, but it's true.

So, here's the thing: Your ideas are your greatest asset. Guard them wisely.

Most ideas will suck but don't worry about that. That's because ideas generate ideas so very soon you'll come up with a diamond in the rough.

Polish it. Turn it into a gem.

Keep capturing ideas and then repeat the process.

Try not to wait for the perfect idea to come. Generate them instead. Perfection isn't some endpoint that we arrive at, perfection is a process that unfolds. Without the process, perfection can never come.

That's why I now carry a little pocket notebook around with me wherever I go. It helps me to capture catchy titles for future blogs that I plan to write and exciting ideas that I want to expand upon and wonderful quotes that I hear and want to share.

Find your way. Whatever system works best for you is the best system.

5. See every failure as an opportunity to learn

When everything that we do provides an opportunity to learn and grow - how could it ever be considered a failure?

This is the great secret all successful people have in common.

And when the fear of failing disappears, suddenly there's a lot more room to play, experiment, and learn.

Don't forget: Every mistake provides insights into how to improve. There's nothing to fear. There's only things to learn.

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work" - Thomas Edison

6. Create connections

We need other people to make money. We can't do it alone. However, nowadays we seem to be scared, doubtful, skeptical, and in competition with one another. Don't be.

Connect with other people. Share your story. Invite people in and let them come along for the ride. By sharing ourselves with others, others feel safe to share themselves with us. This is a fantastic way to learn and grow, not just professionally but also personally too.

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together" - African proverb
