How can you Change the World?

Sell yourself, one story at a time

What are you writing?

How do you feel?

What does it matter, if none of it’s real?

Truth be told, it’s all real

*

We all do it. And it's ok.

We have these thoughts, emotions, stresses, strengths and experiences we feel so strongly about, that we want to share them, have to. It becomes the nagging thought in your head that won't let you sleep, like a melody of a song you can't forget.

Moments that have changed us. Some positively, some negativity, and some so powerful and transforming that we absolutely have to record it, recognize it, and give it life. The moments we would rather forget, that have completely torn us open and left us bare and alone to heal ourselves. And celebrations grand enough to challenge Time Square during the New Year party.

So, express it. Give it the spotlight and show it to someone else. Put on display the creator that you are, transform your worlds and take your reader on a journey beyond time and space.

For many reasons. So they don’t feel alone, or so they get through their struggle or successes, or simply to experience a human connection.

We want to write something that matters, something different, something that stands out and says,

“I have what you are looking for “

But we still want to be real, vulnerable, and transparent.

But, how can we?

*

Not everyone is where we are, and we can start to feel like we are somehow, un-relatable, irrelevant, alone or out of touch.

*

Some people exercise, some meditate.

We, write.

Writing, drawing, painting, building, walking, being creative, using whatever outlet we choose to employ. That helps to release this incredible energy and information that is invaluable

We put pen to paper, fingertips to keyboards and create escapes. Worlds and universes come to life and for a time, we are the gods, the creators of worlds yet to be known. We have all the power to decide where, what, when and how and why.

We take the reader on adventures and journeys to places they have never been, because we are just creating them.

Does the main character live? Does the love interest cheat? What color is the sky, and how many plot twist and play on words will we use, until you finally get to see how the story ends.

Or maybe it doesn't, maybe there is enough action and adventure. Or the main character has drawn your reader in and they demand more. Even better, they have connected with you and your style and your presence that they will read anything you write, because it's honest and hearty and real or gritty. How could they, you may ask? Because everything you experience and everything that touches you in reality, finds it's way through your veins and into your story. Like magic, only better, because it's real.

Don't hold back.

Your pain, your joy, your failures and successes transform into a beautiful glimmer of hope or insight to the person reading it. And each person will glean something different, based on where they are, and the depths to which you opened yourself to.

What power, what pleasure! All there in your hands.

Whether it’s a poem, or a true story, an article about vacations or tips in a how to tutorial. Maybe it’s a fictional story or a spicy fantasy or thriller.

Whatever topic, whatever means.

Write what you love, write how you feel, write how you are changing your world. In doing these things you are not only healing yourself, but every single reader.

Don’t worry about challenges or winning or even top story. All if which are great rewards, just write, write, write.

Your opinion, your perspective, your personality is unique and necessary to make a difference. The world is better, because you are in it.

Be bold, be kind, be honest. Your worst day rearranged into a story or poem could be the escape route or lifeline to someone else. Find your power, share the wealth of your knowledge and beauty of your soul

I know I am not telling you anything you don't already know, I am simply encouraging you to keep going, if your discouraged, keep working, if your dealing with something so awful, release it onto paper and let it go. Keep on moving forward.

YOU CAN DO IT!

Thank you for sharing a part of yourself, and I can wait to see what you share next ❤️

Thank you for your time and reading this. I hope you feel appreciated and encouraged
