Honesty Of A Wood Cutter
Honesty is the best policy

Once upon a time, a woodcutter lived in a village with his wife and two children. He was a very poor man. He used to cut wood from the forest and sell it. The day he found dry wood, he would sell it and buy some food and drink, but with great difficulty his expenses would be met. The woodcutter's wife was very tired of her poverty and the next day they would fight among themselves. On the day when the woodcutter could not get dry wood from the forest, he had to go to bed hungry, including his wife and children.
One day, on his way to the forest, he saw a house. He went into the house with his feet down. That house was very beautiful, everything was visible and clear. He had never seen such a clean house. When he looked around the house, he saw no one in the house. The woodcutter wondered how the house was so clean if no one lived in it. Well, he took a deep breath and sat down at the table and began to worry about his wife's words that if he did not take anything with him on his way home today, there would be a lot of quarrels. Meanwhile, someone put his hand on his shoulder. But in his anguish, he was staring blankly at the front wall, weeping over his plight. Suddenly a voice came from behind him and he felt someone put his hand on his shoulder. He immediately became frightened and his body started sweating and shivering. When the woodcutter got up from his seat and looked back, he saw a mysterious figure and walked away.
A strange shape he had never imagined. He looked neither human nor donkey, his upper torso was like a donkey and his lower torso was like a man's but he said in a human voice, "Don't worry, I won't tell you anything. People came here before you and saw me." Keep running, but you didn't know I was coming, otherwise you would have run away like everyone else. Now he asked the woodcutter what was wrong with him and why he was sitting so confused. The woodcutter, in a soulful voice, unveiled his poverty and described all his circumstances. After hearing all the mysteries, he said that I can help you and ensure your poverty, but the condition is that you keep the secret then! As soon as the woodcutter heard this, he became alert and suddenly Baal got up
I am ready to believe everything you say. Hearing this, the mystic said to him, "I will tell you about a tree whose leaves have healing for human beings. You can treat people with its leaves." And keep making legitimate profits, people will continue to be healed and your poverty will be eradicated but you have to promise me that you will get very little compensation for treatment and treat the poor and helpless for free. The woodcutter also pledged this.
After the woodcutter's vows, the mysterious sculptor identified the tree and immediately disappeared. Back to home When he reached home, he did not have any food or drink again today. As soon as he saw her, his wife started raining on him and started cursing him as usual. The woodcutter sat down for a moment on the bamboo bed, setting the herbs aside.
The wife began to ask what kind of herbs he had brought and what to do with them. The woodcutter's wife listened to him and began to grind the herbs in a mortar. Early the next morning he took the medicine and went to the market and started shouting that there is medicine for all kinds of diseases, the condition of every new and old disease is cure, tell me your disease, take medicine from me and get cured. People started laughing and making fun of her when they heard her voice but the woodcutter kept making his voices heard which a woman came to him with her daughter crying and said that her daughter is dying due to stomach ache And his pain was not cured by any medicine.
The woodcutter said to the old woman, "Give my medicine to your daughter, she will recover." The old woman said that even the great rulers were unable to cure her. What kind of medicine would your medicine do? But the woodcutter confidently fed the medicine to the girl with water and the pain of the girl disappeared as soon as she saw it. The old woman was very happy and very surprised to see this. Some people had also gathered to watch the whole affair which surprised everyone. When the old woman asked the woodcutter the price of the medicine, the woodcutter said only three coins.
The old lady and all the other people were very surprised to hear the low price of this medicine and the old lady paid three coins with thanks. The word of it became common among the people, patients used to come and get cheap treatment and the discussion became common among the rest of the people. The woodcutter would go to the forest every day and bring the leaves and other herbs of the same tree as required and treat the patients after grinding the medicine at home. As soon as he saw it, the woodcutter became rich and now he started helping the poor financially.
One day a handsome young man came to the lumberjack to get medicine. The woodcutter, as usual, gave him medicine at a very low price. The man was very happy and asked, "Do you know me?" The woodcutter looked at him curiously but did not recognize him and said no I do not know who you are. The man smiled and said, "I am the same man who introduced you to the tree you sell today as medicine." He added: "I'm glad you started this job honestly and took very little money from people. The woodcutter was amazed that he had such a strange, scary and mysterious form and today he is a handsome young man like a common man. The woodcutter asked why you looked so scary in the first meeting. The man laughed and said that he was actually the prince of Heaven. He further said that he and his brother were playing ball when their ball fell in the bushes and when he went to pick it up he saw an old man sitting there who was engaged in his worship. In fact, our hair had gone to them by mistake, which had disrupted their worship. I was a child and I was very naughty. When I went to get the ball, I was rude to the elders and at the same time I stumbled upon them, due to which the elders cursed me and my appearance deteriorated.
After the shape deteriorated, I began to apologize to them in the world of extreme anxiety, but the old man laid down a condition that the solution is possible only if you continue to share the good and the creatures are not afraid of you and do something good that Creatures benefit from I learned from the research material of my ancestors about this tree that it has a cure for every disease. No human being would stay close to me so that I could cure my punishment by doing this good deed. Anyone who saw me would run away in fear. I spent years in captivity and then I met you and because of your honesty the effect of this curse ended and my human form was restored. At the same time, he said, "Let me go," and he left. The woodcutter became richer and richer because of his honesty and treated people with very little money and luxury began to kiss his feet. From then on, the woodcutter's wife also became happy with the woodcutter and started calling him respectfully.
