Happiness is a choice

Happiness is a choice based on the facts of what you have. Sadness is the grievance for things you have lost or desire but never acquired. Are you happy for what you have?

Do we choose to be unhappy; or is there just a time for our emotions to kick in for us to choose a different route? I believe that happiness and faith are similar concepts. You have faith in things you believe to be factual, whether that’s god, science, witchcraft, herbs, medicine and etc. It’s all a choice, just like happiness. The facts are that you have many reasons to be happy whether you find them to be valid at that point in time or not. Sometimes the bad has to outweigh the good so that we can appreciate the smaller things, and give them greater power than the evil that surrounds us. No matter how little the light in the darkest tunnel, there's still a light to guide you to your new beginnings. Please pick your head up and follow it to its source, we are all meant to win, even if that means taking a lost, so tread lightly and enjoy the ride. The present is most certainly a gift even if you can't see it's value its worth much more than the retail price and you deserve to be here wearing a smile just as much as your tears deserve to be recognized.

Happiness comes from getting past the things that are hard, and still remaining unchangeable. If you believe in god, then you know we were made in his likeness, and just as we possess some of the traits from our parents, we possess some trait from our father in heaven as well. Jesus remained unchangeable no matter what happened to him, and he knew what was coming. someone you know ever tell you they knew something was going to happen before it even happened, its like you could taste the pain before it happened and it made it a bit easier to endure. I choose to be unchangeable like Jesus, and patient like my father in heaven. And even though there are still trials that lay ahead of me, before i can actually get there, I know I am closer to it just by knowing. By choosing to be unchangeable i am choosing to be my own peace and to find happiness from the inside.

Happiness is a tool in your toolbox, if you never use the tool how do you expect to build happiness? You have to take into account who you are and what brings you happiness, sometimes just complimenting someone when you walk down the street is enough. Be mindful of your delivery and make sure to smile, so the other person doesn't have to question if it's sarcasm or not, no one likes to be complimented by a stone person, it seems disingenuous. So let's get smiling and find our smiles as soon as we wake, give it 30 days and you won't even have to think about it. Remember if happiness is based on the warmth of your heart then we all have happiness inside of us as long as we are living. Happiness also depends on how helpful and kind you are to others, or of your hearts generosity seen through your character, so happiness actually takes a little work to achieve. No matter which one happiness is based on, it doesn't work without a smile, and laughter, the delivery of your generosity matters. So be kind to yourself, and then be kind to others.

To be happy is to be okay with whatever life throws at you and throw back the same energy every time. To be happy is to smile through the pain. To be happy is to live knowing there is something, to believe in something or someone, or believe in nothing at all. Happiness is a choice, are you choosing it everyday?
