What’s your artist name and where are you from?

I’m Rich Ash from Detroit, Mi. Follow me @RichAshWealty.

Why do you love music?

For one I’m from Motown lol. I think that's a huge contributing factor. But on a serious note, I love music because I can always express what I’m going through and people feel it. As a kid, I would always rap and people always told me to stick with it and that really helped me gain even more love for music. No matter what we are going through in life, we’ll always have music and it’s one of those things that I love and actually happen to be good at. I think the way my life played out music was perfect for me!

What makes you different as a music artist?

Offtop my wordplay, delivery, cadence, tone and energy. I’ve been rapping for as long as I can remember, and music has always been a place to express my creativity. Not only am I a recording artist, I also produce, engineer, and shoot videos. I literally can do it all! I have an independent entertainment company that gives me multiple titles depending on the day. So I learn about music from my other jobs as a creator and it teaches me how to stay sufficient in everything, ESPECIALLY my music.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself as a thriving CEO who will inspire and help others who were once in the same predicament as me. I want to have a fully functioning label with A&Rs, producers, actors, marketing teams, artists, and alot more people involved in the entertainment industry. I know once my platform is where I need it to be, the possibilities are endless.

What do you want to accomplish in life?

I want to be a successful artist, producer, CEO, and family man. I want to continue to progress with hard work and dedication. I’m close to my goals, but yet still far. I want to be a prominent figure in music, and I deserve it. I want to start my own entertainment academy that can help underprivileged artists break into the music game. I want to take what we already have in rap, and transform it into something even better. I've already accomplished a lot of things I wanted in my life, but there’s always more tasks to complete.

What do you bring to the music world?

I bring the gritty Detroit street rap amalgamated with a luxury lifestyle to create a unique sound. I’ve been a part of many large projects in my city, but I want to be known on a Global scale. I bring intellect, loyalty, reason, and a breath of fresh air to music. I'm in a generation where new music is often criticized for having lack of originality and being mumble rap.

What do you want to be remembered by?

I want to be remembered as an artist who worked his way to the top the right way. I want to be able to change the lives of many worldwide. I plan on elevating all these businesses, and helping artists who had the same struggles I did. I have a vision that goes much more beyond just being a rapper. The experiences that I’ve had during my tenure of doing music have been nothing but Amazing. The good, the bad, it all comes with the game. It feels good to know how my music has helped others get through life, and I want to be remembered by the impact I had on others. I’m grateful for it
