Getting to know alternative Pop group Kan3 and Pink Ski3z

Whats your artist name and where are you from? Our names are Kan3 and Pink Ski3z and we are a Pop/Alternative duo based out of Roanoke, VA. We started making music together in 2019 and we ended up dropping our first single "I LoveYou" and from there we formed the "Sad Boy Group" that consists of other artist than just ourselves. 

Why do you love music? We love music because it allows us to be vulnerable and show a side of us we weren't used to showing in our lyrics without being judged. Our music is heavily influenced by Juice Wrld, MGK and Iann Dior.

What makes you different as a music artist? Growing up in Roanoke, VA there wasn't a heavy music scene and the one that was popular and still is today is Trap Rap. Even though we were influenced heavily by that type of music it wasn't who we were personally. So we decided to take a different route and jump into the Pop/Alternative scene. We found out that my voice (Kan3) stood out compared to most artists in underground and mainstream music. As for me ( Pink Ski3z ) because of the various genres of music I listen to made it easier for me to be more versatile, I really feel there is no type of music I can't make.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years ? (Kan3) In 5 years I see myself having a couple plaques on the wall with some of my favorite artists, traveling and sharing my music with the world while managing to have a healthy relationship with my friends and family.

                                                               ( Pink Ski3z ) In 5 years I see myself touring the world with my friends, meeting new people, making the best music I can and hey! maybe owning a few Raman shops if I'm lucky lol. All around I just wanna be happy. 

What do you want to accomplish in life? ( Pink Ski3z ) I've always had a love for music but my first dream was to be an comedian. So a small part of me can't let that go, I hope to someday play a part in a comedy movie along side one of my favorite actors such as Martin Lawrence, Kevin Hart, Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd. Other than that I want to work with some of my favorite music artist underground and mainstream and just build relationships. 

                                                                 (Kan3) Ive always wanted to travel the world and play basketball in different countries with different people. Id also like to meet and make songs with some of my favorite artists such as MGK, Post Malone, Dro Kenji, etc.. Other than that win a grammy and live life with my family is all I could ask for.

What do you bring to the music world? What can be said that hasn't already been said? We are just two artist looking to leave our mark in the music industry while building a genuine connection with our fans. Other than that being yourself is something the music industry lacks so its important for us to stay as grounded as possible.

What do you want to be remembered by? ( Pink Ski3z ) As an artist of course I want be remember for my music and how its helped and influence others. For me as a regular dude I just want my family & friends to remember me for genuinely caring for and loving them. 

                                                                    (Kan3) As an artist I want to remembered for my music helping others when they feel lost or alone because I know how it feels. But as for myself outside of music I just want to be remembered as the guy who was there for his family and friends when they needed him.
