Why should failure not exist in your reality? How do you react when falling face first to the point where you believe this notion that you have no more fight left?
That momentary decision whether to give up or keep fighting is character defining, REMEMBER THAT. The harsh reality of it all is to accept what it is that caused this event to happen. Because we must understand that we manifested that reality. And in the moment, we do not realize that; if I manifested this negative reality, then somehow, someway I can turn this around and manifest something positive. My brothers and sisters, let us save ourselves from the torment of our shortcomings, once again we must be the hero of our story, and here is how.
Now I mentioned that we manifested our shortcomings, and first and foremost I do want to acknowledge that terrible things that is not in our control happens in this world, but the most important understanding of this is we have complete control over our emotions. Things that are taken into liberty of someone else’s selfish needs is the harsh reality of the world we live and the strongest (which you are) overcome and fuel from this to manifest a positive reality. The measure of how we bounce back, I will say again is character defining. Why is this character defining you ask? Because if we are prone to give up and blame everyone other than ourselves, we may never learn the lesson that is needed to prevent the same outcome. Then you develop this victim mentality and lose all control and responsibility and give the power of your reality to somebody else.
There is nothing more demoralizing than playing the victim in your own story. That feeling prevents you from utilizing one of human’s greatest trait and that is resiliency. Look back at all the times you were in a position where you thought you may never recover from this fault in life… Some of those faults or shortcomings you completely forgot all about due to your resilient nature putting you in a positive situation, and now you have the perspective of “maybe this had to happen in order for me to level up in my life”. I will get more into that soon as we go along. I want to instill in your mind that you are not a victim, you are also not a failure. Those words should never enter your vernacular. Instead, get used to the words like; resilient, lessons, adversity, rebound, etc. Those minor adjustments to your vocabulary can go along way when it comes to a positive manifestation.
The mind is a powerful tool, scientist have yet to figure the phenomenon of how simple changes of a person’s vocabulary can turn; sick to healthy, poor to wealthy, ignorance to wisdom, etc. But things that go unexplained does not necessarily mean that it is a myth or is untrue. But there is written proof, visual testimonies, and unbelievable miracles seen that just solidifies the truth of positive affirmations of thoughts within the mind that causes paradigm shifts and individual worlds changing for the better. The Conscious Mind is similar if not an exact representation of a mirror. Your day-to-day thoughts, and dreams as you slumber at night can pretty much write out the terms of your whole world. If you have not taken anything out of this passage, take this paragraph and apply it to life.
Now the shortcomings of life should be seen as an essential event and should not be shrugged off as what we like to call “it is what it is” situation. Instead let it marinate in the mind for a bit, (but not too long to where it is bothering you and intervening in your daily life) call it what it is and that is an obstacle. The thing about obstacles is with the right approach you can overcome it with ease, and if you feel like you cannot let that fuel you and give you strength to endure it until you are able to overcome it. “What does not kill you makes you stronger” right? The most unforeseen moments have beauty in it because it is spontaneous and most of the time, we are not equipped to handle it at the moment. So, what is there to do when you are at that crossroads and you do not feel like you have the arsenal to fight this battle and win… Assess the situation, it is good to look back at the road that led you to this road bump and then think of an outcome you wish would happen. Then think of a logical outcome to overcome this road bump. Life is meant to be a rollercoaster, if you met someone that had a life with nothing, but bliss would you believe them? Maybe they conduct themselves in that manner that life always has an upside that equals the downside, and that right there is the key to it all.
If you are anything like me a perfectionist, those transgressions in life does have a major effect on the psyche. And it’s something that all of us need a great understanding on that life is doable once we accept things as they are. Another important factor is if it is in the past leave it where it is. Nothing more disturbing to your peace is the hinderance of our overthinking in life and for the most part the thoughts of our shortcomings need to be eradicated from the mind. So, once you assess the situation, do not bring back to life. That energy and focus should be on being and becoming the best version of yourself, and every day is in need of improvement because we are all not there yet.
