Capital for success

Capital + courage + opportunity = Success. This is my formula for success.

Let's start with a capital. By capital, I mean the endowments, knowledge, abilities, qualities, etc. of an individual's life. Capital is a prerequisite for success; Without capital, no matter how big the courage is, no matter how good the opportunity is, there is no talk of success.

The two young men I knew, both from rural backgrounds, both graduated from high school, and after joining the army one after another, both won the chance to take the military academy exam. Now one is a field officer with a promising career and a happy life; The other, after leaving the army, worked his way up and down the country. An important reason for this gap is that the latter studied carelessly in primary and secondary schools, and did not accumulate enough knowledge capital, resulting in the loss of a good opportunity to enter the military school for training and growth. It is clear that with enough capital, success will beckon you in the distance.

The amount of capital is the key to seeing whether their efforts. More efforts, more pay, and more absorption accumulate over time, and the capital will gradually strong up. With capital, it is settled, even if the capital can not be used for a while, don't worry. Fear is afraid of the need for capital, your belly empty, cash-strapped, that left you, only regret.

And then there's courage. First, dare to grasp the nettle. Some things do not do it, feel difficult; Once you do it, it turns out to be just that. Is the so-called world difficult, for it, the victim is also easy; Do not, then easy also difficult. To put it bluntly, it depends on people. Act boldly, is the embodiment of courage. Second, dare to break through mediocrity. Most people are lazy to varying degrees. Accustomed to a certain life or thinking, they are too lazy to break through the status quo and open up New Territories. Many of my former classmates, with outstanding intelligence, wander around in their own comfortable or humble circles for decades, never experiencing the outside world more wonderfully, their own lives are not so wonderful. The third is to strike when you need to. Opportunity is now or never, once the smell of opportunity comes, will be as quick as the cheetah catch prey attack, will not hesitate and hesitate.

Goethe famously said, "If you lose your possessions -- you only lose a little; If you lose your honor -- you lose a lot; If you lose your courage -- you lose everything!" That makes perfect sense.

Finally, opportunities. Success is closely linked to opportunity. Some people who have the capital and courage, even if there is no good opportunity, will be unable to succeed. In the early 1990s, the enthusiasm of local people to be teachers in southern Jiangsu was not high, and a large number of teachers from other places were urgently needed. Catching up with that era, I, who had only a secondary normal school education at first, finally realized the goal of inter-provincial transfer after several setbacks. Today, even if a graduate is not a resident, it is difficult to get into the teaching team here. Of course, opportunity only favors the prepared mind, the person who takes the initiative to pursue her, she is not the legendary rabbit, no reason to bump into your feet.

Capital, courage, and opportunity, with these three big things, the building of success will be built well. As for how to make the building more perfect, of course, there must be other elements to decorate it.
