A Year To Live.

What would you do and who would you become if you knew you only had a year to live?

'The whole future lies in uncertainty. Live immediately.'

How would you live if you knew you only had 1 year left? What would you do? Who would you choose to become? How would you repent? How would you show love, kindness and compassions to yourself and others?

How would you authentically live out yout last year? And what legacy would you leave behind?

These were all questions I asked myself when I decided to start a year-long experiment called 'A Year To Live'.

When I started my YouTube channel and podcast a year ago, I made it my mission to show people what it would look like if you just took life into your own hands and made it everything you ever dreamed of it to be. So I quit my job, sold everything I owned and started living out every single childhood dream I ever had because I felt like I owed it to that inner child in me to at least try.

Through that process of healing myself of my past demons and traumas, people began relating to my message of 'Do More and Be More.'

Do more for yourself so you can be more for others. In the year since I started the channel and podcast, I have created a global community of people from across the world who are ready to feel the fear and do it anyway.

My passion for story-telling and helping others share their stories and experiences is something that has been deeply embedded in me since I was a child. And it's taken me almost 20 years to come back to that dream that I had as a kid - to be a storyteller. Now I feel like I have found my voice and want to amplify others too. I do that by not only leading by example but encouraging others to take the risk on themselves as well. To free themselves of the conditioning they have been moulded from and all the things they've been told they should be.

A lot of the emails, messages or comments I receive on my videos, stories, posts all say the same thing - 'I love how you live your life. I love how you just go for it. I love how you will have an idea and run with it, without worrying what other people think. I want to be more like that'.

My response is, 'you can'. What's stopping you or any of us from breaking out of that box we were placed in when we were younger to go out and experience everything we'd ever dreamed of as kids?

Life was never meant to come with a checklist of things to tick off by certain ages to prove you're a success. And it's taken me a while to realise this, but I think as humans all we're really searching for in life is freedom. The freedom to choose who we want to be without worrying about how other people will perceive us. Happiness is just a by-product of that sense of freedom we feel when we have chosen the life we really want to be living.

The global community I have fostered includes people (of all ages) who are all seeking that freedom and connection with other like minded people my evergreen goal has become to reach 1 million people. A goal that in no way can be measured and shouldn't be. It's a goal I'm continuously striving for with everything I create. Which is why I want to make this 'A Year to Live' Youtube series more than just a series but a program where people from all over the world can come together and we can go through the process of experiencing a year left to live. It would be a space where I'd share meditations, practices, access to professional webinars and talks in different areas/topics and personal experiences as well as process to undertake month by month to help people overcome their fears and start really living.

This is a program that would run for a full 12 months and is aimed to get people to treat an entire 365 days of their life as if that's all they had left. And on day 366 if they have fully undertaken the practice and program would be gifted with a new perspective on life and by improving their own lives, will be able to go out and help others do the same.

Because at the end of the day, life is just a series of moments that turn into memories and eventually stories we'll one day tell the grandkids.

So why not make them your stories entirely?
