A light through an owls eye

There once was a beautiful barn owl that sat upon the roof of a broken down barn looking down on a family that was struggling to put food on their table, a family that struggled with mental health issues from childhood, a family that needed to heal from their past traumas to be able to transform into who they needed to become for their wings to take flight on their journey to their purpose.

As the owl watches she sees a world full of chaos and tries so desperately to spread light into the darkness. She wants to heal the world from the brokenness of their past so that they can also become a light in the darkness for others. This is how we can heal the world, she thinks to herself if we can only heal ourselves from past trauma and use our stories to help others overcome their struggles. Then the world could shine so bright. The owl continues to watch all through the night and waits patiently for her time to swoop down with percision on her prey because owls also have an ability to hone in on the exact location of a sound source so that they can catch their prey.

Then as the owl watches she see’s the family praying in the darkness of the night asking God to help them, asking God to break the cycle of brokenness, break the cycle of poverty, break the cycle of depression, break the cycle of loneliness, break the cycle of fear, break the cycle of unworthiness, break the cycle of self doubt. Break all the chains so you can fly like the owl and attack your goals with percision and get everything that you deserve because you worked so hard and waited so patiently for your time to come, so you can shine so bright for the world to see.

Everyone’s time will come at just the right moment we have to believe in ourselves and conquer our fears and heal our wounds to be able to set flight on our dreams like the barn owl only then we can attack our goals and make it a reality. The owl drops the prey on the table where the family was praying and they were so overjoyed because they had no more food left and had prayed that night for a miracle. This is the power of prayer so never give up hope that one day you will receive your miracle you have to trust in God and have faith that even when you can’t see what’s coming that you believe that it’s on its way. It is not our timing it is on his time and the Lord knows when you’re ready to receive everything that you’re promised.

It won’t come easy though you have to put in work. You have to go through struggles, failures, sweat, blood, and tears to understand the joys, the triumphs, and the success in your life. Through our scars of our past to our journey of healing and restoration becomes light that no one can stop. It spreads like wildfire throughout the land covering the earth one person at a time and won’t stop until the world is blazing bright. Be the light in the darkness the world needs your light. We can save the world together you have to share you’re light with others so that they can be a light in the darkness for others too.

Everyone of us has a purpose on this earth and you hold the power. It will be up to you to unlock that power. We hold the key to our own destiny. Will you open that door that will lead you to your blessings? I hope and pray that the story has touched you. Be a light in the darkness!
