“In case no one told you today, you are needed, you are stronger than you think, you are doing great, you deserve the best, you are here for a reason, don’t give up."

-Mental Health Notes

Ah, it’s a new month.

With a fresh 30-day start, you set goals and aspirations for this month. A chance to start anew, they call it a new moon for a reason.

In case it’s been too hectic for you, I made you a day by day self-growth calendar. Just do what's assigned for the day, and you'll have the feeling of success.

And I’ll be doing it with you as well. Side by side. This is a perfet way to welcome a new month. Self-care, wellness, health. All incorporated in this 30-day calendar.

Calendar:

Day 1: Set your goals for this month. Write them down someplace you won't lose them.

Day 2: Start a journal(or journal today, if you already have one). Read my post on ‘How To Journal: Beginner’s Guide’ if you need tips.

Day 3: Drink more water than usual, it's good for you :)

Day 4: Call a friend you haven’t talked to in a while. Call 2 if you feel up to it!

Day 5: Listen to a self-care podcast. (Ex. Courage & Spice, Terrible, Thanks For Asking, etc.) There's always more recommendations on the internet.

Day 6: Read a few chapters of a book. If you’re struggling, read my post on ‘How to start that book you’ve been neglecting.’

Day 7: Cook your favorite/comfort meal.

Day 8: Clean out your wardrobe.

Day 9: Sign up for an online course(there are a bunch of good free ones out there)

Day 10: Do an exercise video for your level. (an hour is 4% of your day, no excuses!)

Day 11: Draw your favorite character(from a movie, book, etc.)

Day 12: Make your bed. Congratulate yourself. You did a lot today,

Day 13: Go for a drive or a walk(wear a mask :)to clear your mind.

Day 14: Lay down and listen to some music. Unwind. Journal if you feel up to it.

Day 15: You’re halfway through this month, and I’m so proud of you! Check up on those goals again. :D

Day 16: Take an extra-long hot shower or a bubble bath.

Day 17: Read again, but this time don’t set a timer. Let yourself go.

Day 18: Go to sleep early today. And off all screens 30 minutes before you go to bed.

Day 19: Light a candle and listen to some music. You deserve some me-time.

Day 20: Do another workout video. (no excuses!)

Day 21: Try developing a skin-care routine.

Day 22: Make homemade hair and face mask(So many DIY ones online).

Day 23: Don’t forget to keep on journaling. Write at least 3 things you’re proud of doing this month. (The little things always count).

Day 24: Make another favorite meal again. (Dessert’s count!)

Day 25: Listen to a new podcast. (It could end up being your favorite)

Day 26: Attempt something you’ve always wanted to do(however small).

Day 27: Declutter a room, closet, or drawer. (Does it spark joy?)

Day 28: Change your sheets, and brighten up your living space.

Day 30: Do a photoshoot.(^∀^)

Day 31: Look at you, sticking with something for a whole month. Give yourself a hug(do it.) and a pat on the back. Order some food, kick back, and relax.

You deserve it. You always have.

Conclude

yay! I hope you stuck with me throughout this month. Even if you forgot a day or two, it’s alright. Because you're doing it for yourself.

I'm thinking of creating a calendar graphic for this post, so I'll keep you posted.

Do you have any self-care/growth tips that you use?

I would love to know how you feel after completing this, so let me know in the comments. And before you go, read this quote by Jason Garner.

“You deserve to rest. Even if only for a moment. Put down the weight you’re carrying. Let go of the need to keep it all together. Take off your warrior mask. For this moment, now … just breathe.”

Take care. (⌒∇⌒)
