10 Uplifting Clichés That You Should Take the Time to Consider
It couldn't hurt, right?

1. You are beautiful.
You may not believe me, but it's so true. There is something about you that stands out above the rest. There is something that people see and treasure about you. There is something that makes you unique, something nobody else can ever have. That is true beauty.
2. You matter.
We all feel unimportant sometimes. Often times, even downright invisible. Fact is, you exist. By existing, you've made impressions on those around you, good or bad. You have made an impact.
3. It could always be worse.
I promise. Even if things feel absolutely hopeless, they could always be worse. Even if it feels like you've completely sunk to rock bottom, that hole can always reach a new low. Ultimately, it's up to you, and only you, to prevent that from happening.
4. There's a whole world out there.
It's vast. It's diverse. It's filled with opportunities that are completely within reach. Don't limit yourself to a certain space or domain. Whatever you need to do, wherever you need to go, it's completely and utterly possible. Make it happen!
5. You can accomplish anything.
Anything you set that mind of yours to, trust me, I've seen the most unlikely outcomes from all types of people. If you want something, you can have it if you work toward it. If you don't see any way of reaching your goal, you're not looking hard enough.
6. You are not alone.
To be honest, I have to tell myself this one a lot. Often times I feel misunderstood, like there's no way anyone can understand exactly how I feel. The truth is, no one will ever be able to feel the same feelings as you do the same way that you do. This can be a very isolating thought. However, there will always be someone out there just as lonely and misunderstood who can relate.
7. It's okay to try something different.
As I'm spending my Friday night writing this instead of wasting my money on going out, I'm realizing it's not a part of my typical weekend routine. That's totally okay. It's often beneficial to break out of the norm every now and again, no matter how dull or exciting the option may seem.
8. This too shall pass.
I know, I know. We all have those horrible situations or states of mind that feel like they're never going to come to an end. The important thing to remember here is that they always do, don't they? It's more about having the patience and perseverance to conquer them.
9. It's okay to cry.
AND DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE! If you need to let it out, let it out by any means possible. Sometimes we need to shed a few tears to rip through that emotional barrier we've been hiding behind. Bottling those heavy emotions can be both mentally and physically detrimental.
10. You're your own worst critic.
I can't tell you how often I second-guess myself. I'm doing it right now. I'm wondering why I even made this list. I've thought about deleting it at least 20 times already. I'm not though. I'm going to submit it, because I made a plan to write it. No matter how I feel about it, there might be someone out there that it really reaches. Think about the possibilities before you talk yourself out of something with potential.

I have a difficult time with chronic depression, which sends me into deep places sometimes. I have some really good friends, though, and them telling me, "You are not alone" can make a huge difference in how I deal with things. It's such a simple thing and yet so positive.
This is so uplifting and I certainly hope it reaches the people it needs to reach 🌹💖 I'm glad you chose to finish writing it and published indeed x
