Hmmmmm….Don’t be so scared about the Title of this short story but after you read this you will now understand why I named it *Men will humble you*

Hi my name is Mirabelle I am a Nigerian and this is a true story. I’ve always had really terrible luck with relationships and I wonder if someone somewhere is after me lol 😂. Because none of my relationships seem to go smoothly, I am drained from even thinking about it. So one faithful day as I was scrolling through my phone I got a text from Instagram, normally I don’t usually answer my dms but this faithful day I don’t know what came over me but I decided to answer it. His message was boldly written HELLO BEAUTIFUL I WAS SCROLLING BY AND I HAPPENED TO RUN INTO YOUR PRETTY FACE i was wondering if he entered the wrong dm because the pick up line was just too absurd for me.

I thought about it then immediately replied with HEY then we continued chatting everything seemed to go fine the vibes were matching and all that, he told me he was in his thirties which I didn’t mind it’s better then my age group sending me a dm, so I thought maybe today the heavens have opened up and said you have found find your bone of your bone😝. we kept on chatting for days and I was wondering why he didn’t ask for us to meet up cause his pictures were looking alright, I mean 👀👀👀. So after like a week of chatting I brought up the question and he was like I WANT US TO BOND MORE SO WHEN WE SEE WE WILL HAVE GOOD VIBES I totally agreed but I noticed something about him for instance in the morning he will send messages like GOOD MORNING DEAR and I’ll reply with normal good morning, he will then proceed to argue with me that I should have put baby or darling at the end I would be like okay I will put it when next I greet him, we haven’t even started dating and he was already acting up, my enemies are starting to jubilate. So finally he set up a date for us to meet and Guyssss I was happy I won’t lie because I wanted to see him face to face and know this is what I ordered not the other way round.

I had ordered a new dress because I wanted to impress him hmmmm😂, I did my usual makeup and was looking like like i came out of the oven (spicy hot 🥵). Then he texted me that he was outside, I got out and saw a nice Benz waiting for me, I was pleased because there’s no way I was going to enter a taxi looking like a hot dinner. He even rushed out to open the car door for me. What a gentleman that was what was in my mind, he looked exactly like his pictures so I could finally breathe 🧘‍♀️. On the way to the restaurant he was silent throughout i didn’t even mind I was taking snaps with my phone I had to post it to make those guys that were on my dms only asking about HOW WAS YOUR DAY know that I was the happening babe in town. We got to the restaurant and we had a nice chat the evening was going good he was behaving normal I didn’t know that the water in the pot will soon start boiling very soon( trouble will soon happen).
