‘Failed money grab’: Tyler Perry faces new sexual assault lawsuit from aspiring actor
A model who appeared in ‘Boo! A Madea Halloween’ is seeking $77 million in damages, while Perry’s legal team dismisses the case as a long-delayed cash grab.

Is this yet another case of success attracting a major figure or is there some validity to their claims? The latest alleged victim to accuse Tyler Perry of sexual misconduct is Mario Rodriguez, an actor who played in the film Boo! A Madea Halloween (2016).
He is seeking $77 million in damages against Mr. Perry for alleged improper behavior by the mega media mogul.
If it’s true, Perry should pay up and seek counseling. If it’s not, the people have to stop coming out of the woodworks and begging a billionaire to chip them off a little something.
Rodriguez asserted that Perry grabbed his genitals and had to forcibly remove himself from the situation. There had been chats in Perry’s house about the role supposedly and future work.
Instead, the meetings, supposedly, became sexually charged rendezvouses that upset Rodriguez.

He’s not alone. Derek Dixon claimed that Perry touched him inappropriately and is seeking harassment and assault damages to the tune of $260 million.
Now, if Perry were just a struggling playwright still performing in church basements and on the chitlin circuit, would these allegations be coming to the fore? Or would we just suspect that Rodriguez and Dixon are thirsty for the limelight and some major dollar amounts from the prolific filmmaker and studio head.
Perry is a box office juggernaut and a force with his own studio outside of Hollywood. As a man of color, he’s beat the system by being consistent, focused, and at times brilliant.
When it comes to any sexual activity unwanted by at least these two men, there does seem to be a whiff of distrust for their stories.
With Perry being a billionaire, he has access to numerous banks and financial institutions. He has the power of the dollar to change things. His legal team should be ready to fight in the courts if need be.
His own admission would be apt, however. Since he’s not giving up any information in the way of liability, that acknowledgment of wrongdoing seems a way off for now. Perry doesn’t seem bothered, but these allegations might be not just a financial blow to defend but a serious crack in his brand.
Often seen as a level-headed and kind guy, nightmares of him behind the scenes have surfaced alleging his fiery attitude and no mercy disposition. All have been relegated to suspicious behavior rather than actual fact.
For Perry to continue out of this funk of supposed malicious acts, he might have to cough up some stacks and bow his head before he can lift again towards the rising sun.
Everything he’s ever worked on hinges on the idea that he does not upset these two men or anyone else who shows their face looking for a hand out in the future.

These assertions seem credible, again, Perry might either settle out of court or go into the courtroom to battle it out there. These males seem like the type to just get their rocks off by bringing powerful black men down a peg. They seek serious money because they know Perry has enough to set their lives on a higher plane of existence.
They know that and Perry does, too. There’s a gulf in their bank accounts compared to the Madea maestro. Are his wallets bulletproof, a concept, Ghostface Killer once introduced to the world?
Will Tyler Perry be able to recover from such tawdry scandals? Is his base of black older women worried about the idea of him not putting on a show again?
Whatever the case, prepare for Perry to combat such talk with his money and talents.
