Women who inspire:
For three years, I have had the honor and privilege of knowing Tania Wildbill; not only as my yoga guru, and life coach, but also for the inspiring woman she is. When she moved to Oregon in the early 90’s, little did I know, Tania built a true empire. Her motto states: to explore and awaken to your life’s intention through the integration of breath and movement. She lives this, hence: working to attain her pilot license, moving to Hawaii earlier this year, attaining a position as an Executive Director for a childrens advocacy non-profit in addition to her many accolades.
In early 2018, I began to realize my inspiration after I started attending her yoga classes; post spinal surgery. I became intrigued after I had seen a live stream of a yoga therapy session that Tania did for a friend of mine. On May 12, 2018, I broadcast my yoga therapy session over Facebook and YouTube with the intent of showing people all over the world the power of yoga. In a way, Tania is the human embodiment of Mother Earth, with followers all over the world, and bringing people together.
First and foremost I became inspired to tackle my fear of socialization. That June, I had taken a job at my local mental health agency, the same week that I participated in a life coach training on the Umatilla Indian Reservation. I had become inspired to dispel common myths and rumors about respite mental health care. I was at a point in my life that it was time for a change, and upon completion of my Wellness Wave life coach training, I was gifted a silk scarf with a really intricate pattern that was blessed by the Dalai Lama, and yes I mean THAT Dalai Lama. By year’s end when my Mother was hospitalized with fractured ribs, I honestly believe that when Tania coached my Mom through yogic sleep, she finally started to heal; not only physically but also emotionally.
2019: the year of the shout out. Tania had started a recognition of people who make a difference in their communities; after my supervisor was awarded the February recognition, I knew that I was meant to shout it from the rooftops when I think someone is wonderful, and makes differences. In my career, I took it upon myself to help my clients have the realization that they make their own differences. I carried that with me up until an unexpected job loss in September.
My second life coach training was in November following a consult for my third spine surgery, a depressive funk, and fear of what was to come. I became reinspired to go further in mental health, with the goal of becoming a Social Worker/Case Manager; honestly, if Tania can constantly change the world, and shoot for taking on new goals, I would not let simple despair get me down. I encountered a former client of mine at the practice life coaching sessions with members of the community; because that silk scarf helped me at several low points, I decided to bless my client with some Dalai Lama style vibes.
In January 2020, Tania began her second act when she moved to Hawaii and is currently in the process of changing the world all over again. This year especially, She inspires me to just be a better person, be kind to everyone, including haters; for the duration of the current pandemic, She is gifting life coaching sessions anywhere in the world. There is not a day that because of Tania Wildbill, I don’t explore and awaken to several life intentions, through the integration of breath and movement
