Why are moments so important?
Warning: your mind may be blown from this article...

Moments are important.
When the sun sets and the day turns to night, the moments we had during the day light are no longer present. We are no longer able to be present in those moments which have passed, they have successfully turned into memories.
This is how "time" works. We experience reality and those experiences then turn into memories. Although we may just have memories moving forward of our past experiences, an important note is that we will always have the memories to reflect in our minds, for the rest of our lives. The fascinating thing about this is that we continually move onward to new experiences to further collect more memories.
Why is this so important and why does this matter?
because...
... if you aren't consciously aware, moments can pass by you without even realizing and that means you wouldn't have captured the moment and lived it to the fullest, as well as potentially not even been present and seemingly "unconscious." When you become aware, you are able to choose what to do with your time without being on autopilot.
Becoming consciously aware of the moments as you are experiencing them is so beneficial because then in a way, you become lucid and are able to take hold of your life, to create memories you desire as opposed to memories you dread to recall upon later in life.
This is also good because habits stem from the subconscious aspect of ourselves and when you become aware of the present moment, you can then utilize your conscious awareness to potentially shift your subconscious, in the moment, over a period of moments, in turn potentially shifting any negative habits that you do not desire to have anymore. (i.e. - biting your nails, etc.)
Realize that when your day passes by and the next day begins, you are now bound to the new day and the previous day is no longer able to be experienced. When you come to grasp that and understand it, you then realize that you are currently, in the moment creating a memory and when that moment successfully passes by to a new moment, you are not able to return back to that previous moment, thereby not being able to change the memory that would have been created. It would forever be stamped into your consciousness.
This is why moments are so important, because they mold your future and create your memories. Now that you are consciously aware of this, may you decide to be aware of the moments you experience and not just stay on autopilot as you go on about life.
So, how are your moments going for you? What will you do now in this moment and the moments ahead of you to create memories you will be glad to recall upon later in life? Glad to be able to either inform or remind you about this subject matter. See ya.
