What is all this fuss arond death?
How to make friends with the final frontier?

Have you ever observed how we grieve when someone close to us dies? Can we even make sense of the situation? Death has always been the most popular topic in various religions, philosophies and spiritual beliefs. Some people believe there is life after death, some people not. İn a way, it actually makes no difference whether there is life after death or not. Whether you can regard human life the most random appearance in the dark and lifeless universe or you can regard it as the most precious and God-given gift in the vibrant and dynamic universe. Regardless if we are religious/spiritual or not, we love to grieve for the people who are very dear to us. What? “Love to grieve”? So it must mean “Grieve for Love” as well? Can Love and Death be re-categorized as one and the same? Or is Death a completely different category of our life?
Once Martin Luther King was asked “'What are you afraid of?' and he replied 'Two things; death and love. When I go to bed I think of death. When I wake up I think of love. The two are intertwined and I think that death is the result of a love gone sour - as is love in all its great manifestations. And I think that whatever I have done, that must be redeemed by the power of love. ”
Death isn't scary. Death is an equalizer. Death does not discriminate. Death is the ultimate equality. Death is just another level of life. Death has no animosity, no jealousy, no relationship. All relationships, all marriages have a critical point, a test when it could end. Death is the only conclusion of all our relationships.
But as we know it, we fear death. We all run away from death. We avoid death. We crave for life. We chase for life. Our ideas, our ideals and our forces do not let us die. Our glory, our religion, our legacy and our enemy do not let us die.
Do we know how to die? To let go? To surrender? To let things be? Do we know how to live with death? To live without death? Do we know how to respect death? To make death become a part of our lives? Rather better part of our lives? Do we have a concept of life without death? Life without death? What is life without death? To live without dying? Do we have a concept of life without death? Life without death? What is life without death?
To make death a part of our lives, we have to learn. We have to learn to let go. We have to learn that all things are impermanent. No one is permanent. No one is certain. We have to learn to surrender. Surrender to the ultimate probability. To surrender to the uncontrollable. To surrender to the inevitable. To surrender to the truth. To accept death and still live. To live with death. To live alongside death. To live with life. To live in spite of death. To live knowing life without death is 'possible'. To live knowing reality is a concept. We have to surrender to the truth. We have to accept reality. We have to accept death. We have to accept life. We have to accept everything. Whether we like it or not.
Do we have a concept of ‘together’? Do we consider people as a whole? Do we love people as a whole? Together. Can we love one without loving the rest? Can we make ‘one’ two and three into one? Have we ever thought of this? Do we have a concept of ‘together’? Do we love ‘with’? Do we love ‘together’?.
Death is one of the heaviest subjects in our lives. It is the most profound subject. It is obviously the hardest subject in human life, because it kills all the illusions of our lives. Death is the ultimate reality. It is obvious that death does not discriminate. Because it can not discriminate. It knows no evil or good. It doesn't care. It is its own master. It comes when it wants to come, and goes when it wants to go. Death is a untimely gift in this world. We perceive it differently. Some people fear death, they believe that death takes them to hell and some people believe that death brings them to salvation. Some people believe that after death, their souls live in heaven or in hell. Some people believe that their relatives are blessed to their souls after death. Some believe that their souls will live in reunited with the dead. Some believe that they will be reunited with their loved ones. Some believe that after death, everything will be the same, that life will be the same. And some people believe that after death, everything is completely clean and pure. And some believe that all the dead people return to the earth to live again. Some believe that after death, nothing changes. Some people believe that after death, the dead people have to be punished and remain in hell for a long time. Others believe that souls are punished, but not live in hell. Other people believe that souls get no punishment and just go on to live in heaven or reunite after death. And some believe that the souls return to the earth but the dead individual remains in body but the soul escapes the body. There are people who believe that the souls return to the earth from the dead. And there are people who believe that the dead people are physically dead and have to spend a long time in the grave.
With all these views, it seems impossible to make sense of death. Death is difficult to make sense of. It is said that the Mother of Saints Augustine and Catherine of Sienna died and stuck in “hell” because they had accepted the Catholic Church as their religion just to go under the jurisdiction of Hell. For a long time it was questioned in the Catholic Church, whether they are sinners like the others who were in the same place, or there is some mistake. Finally, in the fifteenth century they returned from “hell”after the decree was issued by the Pope. Some people believe that all the differences between all religions arise from these circumstances. A lot of things are difficult to understand, but with respect to death, it is the greatest subject of our lives.
All knowings of death are flawed. They are based on the lack of logic. The basic idea is ‘life’after death. How do we know this?
Christians believe that all souls that do not share the same principles as they do, remain in Hell forever, they are being punished by God himself. The justice they believe in, is that they take revenge. Christianity's philosophy of death is based on the idea that God is the one who kills and the soul goes to hell for being punished. But there is not a single person who saw God and knows his face. Also there is no independent reasoning base for this theory. All Christians' thinking about death is based on personal opinions and belief. The belief that God kills and the soul goes to hell is based on belief.
How can the relationship between people and Nature be perceived as life and death? I think nature is the genuine mother of humanity. From the mother of humanity, all natural life came into being. The first form of life seems to have been a simple organic molecule. Our ancestors, hydroxide ions, tended to combine with others to form various kinds of organic molecules. Humanity is the result of the evolution of the dead. In fact, the smallest unit of life and death is the same. The primary structure is "H2O" whether it is a living being or a water molecule. Having water in your body means having life. Without water in your body, it means that you are dead. Water is a cannibal. Water fulfills a large volume of life's needs. The most common element in the human body is hydrogen, about 65%. The other 35% molecules are composed of oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, iron and calcium. Although hydrogen as the smallest molecule (2 atoms) is contained in the life of all living things, hydrogen is inorganic. All living beings originate from water. The very first form of life is a group of water molecules bonded. That is the simplest form of life. The first form of consciousness is water. The element of water is present in all living things, so the presence of water means the presence of life. And the absence of water is the absence of life. But the life of life is not just death; life is energy, movement, creation. With water, it means production and growth. It is human life. Death is energy, movement, dissolution. Water cannot die. It can only return to the water.
So death is not scary. It is actually a wonderful thing. Death itself is the gift of universal life. In the unlimited sea, the waves rotate endlessly on the bottom. Death does not only accompany us, it starts with us as well. When we die, we also leave the dead place. Staying in the dead place is a life of death. The most fundamental law in nature is resurrection. Life is a combination of death. Nature never dies. Earth never dies. Heaven never dies. On the other hand, we cannot live without death. We are the same as nature. We are part of the never-dying wheel; we are a part of the never-dying life. Water is the symbol of nature. Water flows. Water flows below the earth. It flows below the earth's surface. It flows and flows until it returns to the ocean. We come from nature. We were born. We have died. We are nature, not separate from nature, not apart from nature. Our lives are created from nature.
