Reading the Aura

The metaphysical explanation for all things is that the human body is composed of energy fields. Each energy field has a color and is made up of electrical, magnetic, sound, heat, light, and electromagnetic fields. The energies of “plants, trees, flowers, animals and even the earth itself,” (9), surrounds us much like the Force in Star Wars. That is, by definition, what the Force actually is. My energy field has strength and is way too powerful for some people to deal with. I can tell by somebody’s aura whether I can stand his or her energy, plain and simple.

Yes, the aura interacts with the energy field of other people. There are constant energy interactions between people because of the energy field in general, regardless of whether one is a psychic vampire or not. Some psychic vampires, like me, give energy away for free. We can also feed off of sunlight, the earth, ambient energy from traffic, and much more. Energy differences need not be shamed because they exist. Yes, I’m coming out of the psychic vampire closet.

Auras change day-to-day given wear and tear, along with how much sleep you get. The aura shows the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of the individual. Weak energy fields leave you susceptible to outside influences. The energy field is associated with various colors and light wavelengths. The band closest to the physical body reflects emotional, mental and spiritual energies. Those colors that are darker reflect imbalances. Dark colors, however, may indicate high energy levels. I once saw an aura that looked like a sunset; this was my spiritualist church teacher’s aura. She was golden orange and yellow but my friend saw blue and green.

Different people see different colors. Nothing was so beautiful in college as 19th Avenue at night awash in auric light from every car and person walking. Andrews advises not to make judgments about character based on the colors you see around somebody’s aura. Reading the aura can make you one step ahead of people. The aura changes daily. The aura colors available to us are standard colors as well as astral colors that are not picked up on as easily with auric sight. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, and purple are the main colors you see in an aura while the extra colors are pink, gold, white, grey, brown, black and silver twinklies. Gold can signify that person is psychically shielding.

Red can mean life force is strong in that person or that the person is feeling angry. Orange can be read as creative or indicate emotional imbalance and agitation. The meaning behind yellow is that pale yellow according to Andrews is about optimism; normal yellow in my understanding is about intellectual activity and awakening psychic abilities. Green is a color of a gardener or somebody that has “abundance, strength, and friendliness” (102). Blue people are clairaudient or telepathic. I have to wonder if I have blue in my aura if that is even possible. The deeper the blue, the more devoted the person is. Dark colors reflect negative states while bright colors reflect positive states. Purple shades mean that a person can handle affairs with practicality and worldliness, while pastels show spirituality and humility. Red-purple indicates great passion or strength of will. To Andrews, the color pink is a color of love, compassion, and purity. Pink indicates a quiet or modest individual with an appreciation of beauty. Gold shows enthusiasm while muddier shades say the person is working on figuring out to awaken.

White is about truth and purity with a person working on clarifying themselves. White light is about having all colors inside of it because white is a universal color element. Gray is about unveiling the energies and abilities of illumination as well as the feminine energies. I was told that dark gray indicates spiritual imbalance. Brown can reflect new growth or physical health issues, and black is a color I have used to shield people from outside energies. Black indicates child abuse survivors or former to current substance abusers. And finally, silver twinklies indicate that a woman is pregnant, and Andrews feels he sees these around women who are pregnant but not always, as it can also be a sign of creativity. Twinklies may mean that something new is coming into a person’s life or that they will wind up pregnant. So I guess you’d have to tell a person to look out for twinklies or that something huge and new as life-changing as a child is coming into their lives.
