The study of Numbers

Order in a chaotic universe

What even is Numerology? A question that will take you very deep into the depths of not only the universe but your own soul. Numerology is a study of the relationship between numbers and events and how this relationship will have an impact on your life. Like astrology, you use you birthday to find out what your numerology chart looks like. The practice of numerology allows insight to your character, hidden talents, best time for a relationship, etc. Numerology will not make life easier by any means but it will allow you notice patterns ahead of time and prepare to have the right reaction to certain events that may arise in your life as well as Numerology allows you to access deep knowledge about yourself which as we all know is the key to transcending this reality we find ourselves in.

Now I am sure you are wondering if there are any good or bad numbers, Simple answer is no. All numbers have different corresponding numbers and numbers that they don't work well with. Everybody has their own unique chart but some beginner numerologists tend to have a prejudice against the numbers that don't correspond with theirs, Don't let prejudice and judgement get in the way of your learning because it can be very easy to slip into an egotistical perspective when you start your study of numbers. The main thing to keep in mind is that everybody was placed here for a specific reason and numbers are basically the puzzle in which you use to figure out what that person is all about and the potential they hold within.

There are various forms of numerology but for now I will be using Pythagorean Numerology. In short, Pythagoras was studying musical notes and realized the notes could be reduced down to numbers. He then realized that every object has a vibration, a higher vibration is more positive energy while a lower vibration indicates negative energy. The premise of what Pythagoras was trying to show is that life and the universe as a whole, is an orderly system, and numbers reflect that orderliness. Numbers are by definition orderly. When pondering numerology you will eventually come to the question is there meaning and order to life or is it purely a random and chaotic universe? Some people believe we live in a universe of chance and that every experience is at random. We know this to be untrue considering mathematics, physics, biology, astronomy, etc are all based on orderliness. More so, if the universe were to be ruled by random unpredictable events there would be no structure to it.

The universe not only maintains structure but also changes it in precise ways. Day turns into night and night turns into day, seasons change from winter to spring to summer then fall. It may seem like chaos to our little minds but everything in nature is calculated and precise. Life is a constant state of transition and changes but to think they are all by coincidence is a disservice to your own human experience.

Numerology deals with the single digit numbers 1-9 with exception to master numbers (11,22,33). These numbers can be seen as archetypes that all of us posses in greater or lesser quantities. Number 1 possess aggressiveness or power (masculine), while the number 2 represent passiveness and cooperation (Feminine). A good rule of thumb to follow is that odd numbers typically represent masculine energy while even numbers represent feminine energy. To further my illustration, while 1 embodies the masculine and 2 embodies the feminine, you can never confuse the 2 because each number is the counterpart, or the opposite of its neighbor number.

The personality of each number is very clear and identifiable so as you get to learn more about the numbers you will soon be able to predict each numbers response to any given situation they find themselves in.
