Losing Weight [Week 1]

Fitness bloggers, success stories, and fitspo images. They're all motivating to follow when you're trying to lose weight. However, there few people that log and share a weight loss journey on a weekly basis.

I am on a journey to create a healthier lifestyle and body. Rather than sharing a before and after image to excite and motivate you with fancy exercise routines and diet plans, I will give you the raw week by week insight on my weight loss journey.

For those of you wanting numbers:

Height: 5 ft 0.5 inches/153cm (proud of that 0.5 inch)

Weight: 140 lbs (BMI 26.9 - classified as overweight)

Body Fat %: 32%

Waist: 30 in / Hip: 38 in / Thigh: 22.5 in / Calves: 14 in / Arms: 11 in

(Respective: 76.2cm / 96.54 cm / 57.15 cm / 35.56 cm / 27.94cm)

As I document my journey, I encourage anyone who is seeking a healthier lifestyle to join in with me so we can build a fitness community. We all know it's easy to keep going once you see visible results, but it's always hard to get to that point. The beginning is where you need the most support and I'm here to be vulnerable and say, "I am at my beginning. Today is my "I'll start my diet tomorrow" day. Day 1 and no turning back.

Honestly, I am freaking scared to share my "before" without a glamorous "after" shot next to it. I don't know the future. This is the current me. I want to lose body fat and look more toned. I want to eat clean and live a healthy life physical, mentally, and emotionally. But will I get all of these wants? I don't know. The only thing I can bank on is how much will-power I have to keep at this. Right now I'm at 100 (like everyone who starts their day 1 diet). But we'll see where that number goes throughout the week.

Well, here's to week 1 and day 1. Let's hope I get a week 2 post up.

Love yourself and find what makes you happy. If you think exercising and toning your body is what you need feel free to jump aboard and do this lifestyle change with me. If you're hella confident how you are... own it. We need more people like that in this world. We all need to build up one another to love without conditions (*cue Katy Perry "Unconditionally").
