I'm Gonna Say It: Just wear the F*****g mask!

I’m just gonna say it and I’m not gonna beat around the bush, I’m gonna say what most of us are thinking but don’t want to say. The reason why we’re having a hard time getting past this pandemic is that we have too many stupid ass people running around here doing stupid things and causing this pandemic to go on longer than it should be going on. What’s so crazy is that what’s being asked of them is not much, yeah it might be inconvenient but it’s fairly simple. I mean how hard is it to wear a mask when you go inside a public place and stay six feet apart from each other? Or not gather in large crowds? It’s not really hard at all. Put your mask on, do what you’ve got to do and leave, it’s that simple.

It’s really simple to follow the guidelines and help get this under control but you’ve got damn fools who just have to take something so simple and make a big deal out of it. They just have to go make a mountain out of a molehill because they just have to be assholes giving people a hard time. What makes it even worse is when they record it and post videos on social media like they are doing something. I mean it’s bad enough that they are making themselves look like jackasses potentially putting not only their lives and other lives at risk but they are also posting it online showing the whole world how stupid they are believing that they are justified for acting like a damn fool and giving the person or people on the receiving end, a hard time because they don’t want to follow simple rules.

One example of this is a woman and a man who walked in a Five Guys, refusing to wear a mask and trying to make the worker who refused to serve them look like they were discriminating against them, when he was not. He was simply letting them know that he couldn’t serve them without a mask. Now instead of just putting on a mask and order their food, this damn fool pulled out her phone to record and give the poor guy behind the counter just doing his job, a hard time. The manager, who she was pretty much harassing, pulled out his phone and started recording her.

Needless to say that she went on about how “it was just a mandate, not a law” and the rest of that bull like she was some kind of lawyer. Talking about how she want the manager’s name and the number to corporate, you know the typical Karen behavior, trying to make it look like she was in the right when you could clearly see that she was clearly in the wrong. You could see that she was pretty much trying to give the manager a hard time, that’s it. She didn’t have any real complaint at all. She just wanted to pretty much be a “Karen.”

She’s not the only one doing this. It seems like since this pandemic has started, we have been seeing more “Karens” both female and male popping up all over the place. They have pretty much been giving workers a hard time because they refuse to do something as simple as wearing a mask inside businesses and other public places, spouting bull about how being asked to wear a mask is somehow violating their rights, which it’s not. They have even gone so far as to claim that by asking them to wear a mask or do other things that would help to slow the spread and possibly put an end to this pandemic, are somehow oppression or some other bull, when it’s simply trying to put an end to a deadly pandemic that has claimed over a quarter of a million lives and has infected millions with the numbers increasing as each day passes.

Just thinking about how stupid these people are to even compare measures being put in place to save countless lives to actual oppression, pisses me off. Anyone with any good sense knows that the mandates being set cannot compare to actual oppression. These people are not being unfairly targeted and profiled. They are not being killed or jailed for no good reason. These people are not being unfairly profiled. They are just being assholes for the sake of being assholes. They know that they are full of it, they just get off trying to make other people feel bad to make themselves feel good.

I’m not going to get into how asinine their assumption that they are somehow being oppressed because they are being asked to follow simple health guidelines is. I’m not going to even get into it because we know and they know, they know all too well that being asked to follow safety guidelines, including wearing a mask, is about public safety. These anti-maskers know that just like we know that, so I don’t have to go there, though my heart does go out to those people who have to deal with these idiots on a daily basis. They have my highest respect.

Another thing that pretty much pisses me off with these anti-maskers is how they act like they know the law, which more than likely they don’t have any damn idea what the hell they are talking about. They spend their time arguing about wearing a mask instead of doing what they came to do. I mean, I’ve seen these videos and I’m thinking to myself that whole time they were up there arguing about having to wear a mask, they could’ve done what they went there to do and left. They pretty much wasted everyone’s time, staff and customers because they didn’t want to do one simple thing. They just had to have an audience, some even going so far to record themselves acting like a damn fool, if they aren’t recorded by someone else.

They all want everyone’s name and the number to corporate, which they could google and they know that. They just want to act like they are a lot more important than the person they are giving the hard time. Any damn fool knows that if you want the corporate number to any business, you can look it up online. Google has been around for how long? Hell, I’m pretty sure that they’ve used google to get the address to the business and that includes the number as well.

I swear every time I hear one of these damn fools say that they want the number to corporate, I wanna knock the hell out of them. I know that I’m not the only one. I’m pretty sure the worker that has to deal with these damn fools feel the same way too. It’s bad enough that these people have to risk getting sick with Coronavirus trying to make ends meet, they end up having to deal with some self entitled asshole who think that they have the right to give them a hard time because they are being asked to do something so simple as wear a mask.

I mean seriously, what goes through someone’s mind where they feel that they just have to go out a screw with people? Is it that they have no life so they just have to go out and make someone as miserable as they are? It doesn’t make any sense. It’s as if they start their day thinking about whose life they could make a living hell. Maybe that’s how they think or maybe it isn’t, I don’t know, I’m not a psychiatrist. All I know is that it’s becoming too common these days and it seemed to get worse during this pandemic.

People are just going about their business and some “Karen” feels that they have the right to tell them what they should do and how they should do it. These fools are going so far as to get arrested for their stupidity. I don’t blame the workers for calling the cops. I think that I would be to the point where I would call the cops on these idiots. It’s bad enough that they have to work at a job that barely pays the bills, they have to enforce policy as well as deal with some entitled misinformed idiot who thinks that they are exempt from following because some other idiot who doesn’t know what they are talking about told them that they don’t have to follow because complying with something that would save many lives would somehow violate their rights.

These anti-masking fools are always talking about their rights but they fail to think about the rights of others. They fail to consider the rights of others to live. They think that the world revolves around them and that everyone should bow down to them. These Covidiots refuse to understand that by wearing a mask they are respecting the rights of others not to get sick. I mean, who in the hell wants someone coughing or sneezing all over them and getting them sick with something that could kill them? I know I don’t.

And don’t you just love the ones who want to fake cough, sneeze or even spit on people? They act like they didn’t do anything and some of these fools claim to know the law or whatever, yet they don’t know that coughing, sneezing, or spitting on someone on purpose classifies as assault. They fail to realize that when they do that stupid ish, that they could pretty much get their ass kicked as well as go to jail for doing so.

When I see people get up in the faces of people coughing, sneezing or spitting in other people’s faces on purpose, I find myself wishing that the person they did that too would just knock the hell out of them. I’m not advocating violence, I’m just saying that it makes me so angry that these damn fools would go so far as to do something so stupid, thinking that there won’t be any retaliation for their actions.

When these people get what they deserve, it’s such poetic justice. I know that sounds mean but when you think about what they have done and how they have acted like a damn fool, you can’t help to feel glad when they get arrested, fired from their job or some other form of punishment. I know that I get satisfaction when their idiotic boasting turns to tears because they deserve just what they get.

A lot of times, it happens at their own hands, just like when that lady went to Target and destroyed that mask display. She went into Target live streaming herself snatching down the masks and throwing them on the floor. Then she got arrested on that same live feed. So not only did she live feed her crime, making everyone watching including the staff at Target witnesses, she also showed her arrest, which was forthcoming. And the cherry on top was the guy, I don’t know if it was her husband or what, looking on pretty much shaking his head at the stupid thing that she had done. I can’t say how many times I have watched it and laughed.

Anyway, I know this pandemic is hard on everyone. I have to tell you that I’m not too crazy about wearing a mask when I go out to public places but I know that it’s for a good cause. To me, it’s a minor inconvenience that could save lives. Plus, I rather not waste my time and others arguing with someone who is just trying to do their job and keep everyone safe. The people working have to go through enough having to work during this pandemic and being potentially exposed to Coronavirus. They don’t need me or anyone else adding to the stress that they already have to go through. They have to deal with other people and just not me. They have to be there how ever long they have to work for that day and have to interact with many people. The last thing they need is some idiot trying to prove a point by not wanting to wear a mask.

What gets me about these anti-mask Karens is the fact that they would rather make a scene than just leave. They would rather make a fool of themselves over something so stupid instead of just wearing a mask for the little while they are out somewhere or just leaving if they don’t want to wear a mask. What makes me shake my head even more is that they are convinced that they are standing up for their rights, by acting like a damn fool and refusing to wear a mask, when in fact they are just showing reckless disregard for their life and the lives of others.

Now, we could go and blame how these damn fools are acting on Trump, the GOP, Fox News, OAN, the Blaze, Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh, QAnon, etc. but honestly, there just has to be a point when you have to think for yourself. There just has to be a point where you think well it has to be something wrong if everyone is wearing a mask when they go to public places. I mean there has to be something in your mind that says that people could die from this. I mean the fact that people could die from Coronavirus alone should be enough to set off alarms in your head that you should be wearing a mask.

Don’t get me wrong, I really dislike those assholes who keep lying about this but you can only blame them for so much, the people that listen to them should have enough common sense to see that they have been lied to. These anti-mask Karens should have enough common sense to think to themselves that maybe they should wear a mask. It comes to a point where you should be able to distinguish what’s real and what’s fake. The potential that this could cause death to not only yourself but your loved ones should be enough for you to say that “I’m gonna wear a mask so I don’t get any that I love sick.”

I’m not gonna get into it right now about idiots who are spreading misinformation, I’m gonna save that for another time because that’s another subject. Right now, I want to talk about the willful stupidity of these people and how their stupidity is not only annoying but it puts us all in danger. What’s even worse is the fact that these “Karens” have gotten so comfortable about acting like a damn fool in public to the point where they’ve got their phones out recording and live streaming it.

These jackasses pull out their phones recording and live streaming them being assholes like it’s gonna be some type of justification for them giving someone a hard time because they want to act like overgrown spoiled brats. I mean what goes through their minds? I mean do they just go, “I’m gonna act like an asshole to you, hold up let me go record this so I could put it on YouTube later or livestream it now”? What the hell is the thought process behind this? Do they just plan it or do they just go on a whim? Are they that freaking desperate for people to see them that they have to have the whole world see them act like a freaking idiot?

Or maybe they think that them recording themselves acting like a horse’s ass, will somehow lead to them getting some kind of compensation. I don’t know why they would think that. I mean I’m pretty sure that these companies are not gonna have their lawyers call them up offering them a settlement because they acted like a damn fool towards their workers. I’m also pretty sure that who they are trying to get in trouble is not gonna lose their job because they chose to come in and harass them. Like Subway, WalMart, Target, or McDonald’s is somehow gonna fire their worker that Karen came and abused because Karen says so. Give me a break!

Don’t get me wrong, if you were in fact wronged and you need to get video evidence to prove it, do so. Just don’t go acting an ass because you can. There are people out there who are working their asses off for not enough pay, and with little benefit, they don’t need anyone adding to the troubles that they already have. They definitely don’t need some self entitled asshole giving them a harder time than they are already going through.

And another thing, they don’t need people coming by acting an ass and telling them that they make more money than them. I mean if you make that much more money, why in the hell are you giving minimum wage workers, who are trying to make ends meet, a hard time? I mean what the entire hell? What is it some kind of sick fetish that people have, boasting about how much money they make to people who are just trying to do their job? I mean it really shows how much someone has to offer when they get off on telling someone that they make more money than they do, which is pretty much nothing if you ask me.

Telling someone that you make more than them while arguing about something asinine such as being asked to wear a freaking mask, is just what that worker wants to hear as they are trying to do their job so they could try to pay their bills. That’s the way to own them for asking you to do something that could save your life as well as the lives of others. That’ll show them asking you to follow store policy. Not!

Also, recording yourself acting like a damn fool is not amusing to anyone but yourself. All it’s showing is that you’re pretty much an idiot, with nothing else to show except that you could act like a damn fool over something so stupid. Plus, you’re pretty much adding stress on to someone who already has enough stress. I know that you might not care about that but that’s what you’re doing and it doesn’t make you look good being an asshole to someone who’s just trying to do their job. Yeah, you might get all the views on social media you want but don’t be surprised if you get called out for acting like a damn fool.

And it’s not good to go out starting something, just to start something. I know that this pandemic has pretty much limited a lot of things that we are use to doing but it doesn’t make things better when someone goes out trying to give people a hard time just trying to live their lives. You’re not making a point by refusing to wear a mask, when you go inside a business and posting it online. You’re not exercising your freedom by not wearing a mask putting other lives, as well as your own, at risk. You’re making it harder for us to get back to doing things that we’re all use to doing. You’re not part of the solution, you're a part of the problem, especially when you’re not just refusing to wear a mask, or acting like a damn fool some other way, but also when you post or live stream video of you doing it. You’re not a social justice warrior if you’re doing crap like that, so get that out of your head right now.

It’s not businesses on the receiving end of this, you have hospitals and medical offices going through this. There are actually people going in places like hospitals and medical offices refusing to wear masks claiming the same crap about it’s violating their rights, which is not true. What these people fail to realize is that by refusing to wear a mask they are violating the rights of other people not to be put in danger of contracting a virus that could kill them. Through their idiotic spoiled actions they are putting other people’s lives at risk because they refuse to just do a simple thing as wear a mask, what’s even worse is that they think that they are in the right for doing that.

Another thing about these anti-maskers that really work my nerves, and I’m sure that I’m not alone in this, is how they, the anti-maskers want to talk about how illegal it is for them to be asked to wear a mask, when in reality it’s not illegal or a violation of their rights. The truth is that businesses do have the right to refuse service to anyone if they are proving to be a potential threat. In this case, not wearing a mask when asked to. The business have the right, both legally and morally, to refuse service because of the fact that they could be sued if their customers catch COVID19 (Coronavirus) on their premises. It’s just like if anyone gets injured on their premises, they could sue the business making them liable for that.

And for those who want to talk about how they have a medical exemption, it doesn’t mean that you don’t have to follow guidelines set in place to keep us all safe. A medical exemption doesn’t give you the right to put other people’s lives at risk. Plus, wearing a mask doesn’t fall under the ADA guidelines. The ADA doesn’t exempt anyone who could potentially be putting other people’s lives at risk. When a mandate is issued in order to protect everyone, it becomes law until officially rescinded, and I say this for all those people who claim to know the law.

These mandates that were set in place in the interest of public health are law and enforceable if the intent is on protection of public health. Also, businesses are well within their right to ask that someone wears a mask while patronizing their businesses because it is in their best interests and it is their obligation to keep their workers and customers as safe as reasonably possible. They can also, lawfully, set policies in place to achieve this purpose. In short, so going off on a manager or employee because you don’t want to wear a mask doesn’t leave you with a leg to stand on. You could try to sue the company or complain to corporate all you want but more than likely, your lawsuit or your complaint would be dismissed and if might result in you being banned from the business.

Also, if you refuse to leave, you could be looking at legal troubles yourself. If the cops come, they will ask you to leave and if you refuse to leave, they could arrest you. And don’t think that you having a recording of your interaction with the staff is gonna work in your favor, it’s not. More than likely it will subject you to other charges. So, go ahead arguing a point that you will end up on the wrong side of, just know that you could find yourself in more trouble than you could have simply avoided if you just worn a mask and went about your business.

Not to mention the lawsuit that could be brought against you by the corporation if you refuse to comply with the trespass order after you’ve been banned from the business. Not only could they call the police on you and have you removed but they also could sue you for trespassing on their property after you’ve been banned and they can do it if they choose. So I ask you, is it worth catching a criminal and civil case, just because you don’t want to wear a mask? I don’t think it’s worth it. I don’t think that it’s worth adding more problems that you don’t want, just because you didn’t want to do something so simple.

And let’s talk about the time that you’re wasting arguing about wearing a mask. Think about it, you just wasted your time arguing the losing end of an argument that you can’t reasonably win. Instead of doing what business you came to conduct and going on about your life, you just wasted your time, not to mention the time of staff and possibly that of emergency services (that is if they decide to call the police who could have been answering to a real emergency), all because you refused to do something so simple.

What’s even more, if you’re employed or you’re in business for yourself, and it’s recorded that you’re giving working people a hard time, you could lose business or you job because more than likely no business or person wants to be affiliated with someone that would willingly put lives at risk and cause a commotion over something so simple. So, long story short it’s not worth it.

Look, I understand that it might be inconvenient to have to put on a mask when you’re in a public place. I can totally understand how you might feel about doing that because I, myself, am not really crazy about having to put on a mask every time that I go to a public place but the fact of the matter is that, it’s something that we have to do right now in order to get through this pandemic and back to where we don’t have to worry about wearing a mask. I mean the quicker that we do our part to slow and stop the spread of the Coronavirus, the quicker this pandemic will be over.

Also, this is a deadly pandemic, with over 250,000 dead, millions infected and the numbers keep rising daily. This is not a hoax, this is not a game, this is very real and very deadly. This is something that we need to take very seriously. We have seen evidence of how serious and deadly this pandemic, time and time again. Yes, it’s scary yet we can get through this if we all do what’s being asked of us, and just wear the mask. Too many lives have been lost behind this and the sad thing is that those lives being lost could’ve been prevented if people just listened to the experts and did what was being asked of all of us.

It’s not too late though, we could still help to slow and even stop the spread. We can wear our masks when we’re out in public places such as business and hospitals. Go out and get tested, if you feel that you were exposed. Practice social distancing as much as possible. Avoid large gatherings. It’s all about us doing our part and having respect for not only our lives but the lives of others as well. Let us not forget that human rights are rights too. We all have the basic right to live. So let’s not forget that.

Simply put: Just wear the f****ng mask.
