Your body will go into starvation mode if you eat extremely low-calorie diets since it doesn't know when it will acquire extra nutrients! Your body slows down its calorie-burning activities and begins to store fat as a result of ingesting so few calories.

Furthermore, your body will be deprived of the nutrients it requires to function properly. You may feel irritable all of the time, be weary, or even show signs of despair. If you're trying to exercise, you probably won't have the energy to put in a good workout or recover adequately.

Low calorie intake isn't necessarily the key to rapid weight loss. It's all about eating the RIGHT calories. Your body will be a wreck if you exercise like crazy and try to live on 1,000 calories per day! So, if you want to lose weight quickly, what should you eat? You should consume a lot of protein, fiber, and water without getting too sophisticated. Sugars, starchy carbohydrates, and fats should be avoided or limited.

You don't have to keep track of every calorie you consume. All you have to do now is make sure you're consuming nutritious foods. The plate technique is one of the simplest ways to lose weight. Divide your plate into parts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as follows:

1. Non-starchy carbs (particularly VEGGIES) should make up half of your plate. Broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, and other vegetables That doesn't mean tossing them in a vegetable dip or sautéing them in 5 tablespoons of butter! Learn to appreciate vegetables for who they are. A good source of nutrients that is also healthy.

2. Lean protein (fish, chicken, turkey, or any other lean meat) should make up 1/3 of your dish. Beans, for example, are a wonderful source of protein.

The remaining carbs should be starchy carbs, such as brown rice, wheat bread, wheat noodles, and so on.
