Most of you's might know i'm a writer by Night and Personal Trainer by day. In this article i'm going to be guiding you through the steps i personal use for myself and my clients.

Firstly, When starting up your fitness journey; You must ensure you have a evident ideal goal. This could range from looking like greek god with well defined abs or to ensure that you stay healthy and robust.

1.How do you step up a Fitness Goal? Many people don't recognise that a Fitness goal must be present when kicking starting any journey. It is like travelling you must be S.M.A.R.T with your journey plan. The plan must be Specific, Measurable so you must have test or measurements to prove that what you're doing is working like for example 'measuring the girth of your hips once a month, this desire should Align with your long term goal in addition It should also have some of Relevancy to you and the (Time Frame) You'll achieve this goal should be Pragmatic.

2. How Many Kilograms should i be losing a week if my goal is weight loss? My answer to this Zero. This is predominately because I know when someone is thinking to initiate a weight loss journey they focus on the scale too much. The scales doesn't take in consideration of Muscle Mass, Bone Density, water percentage, Fat Mass and etc. Basically it's pointless when it comes to the human anatomy as a whole. An Ideal weight loss would be focusing on Fat Mass Reduction and increasing Muscle Mass at a healthy rate. You don't want loss Fat Mass abruptly since that will decrease Muscle Mass. A way to track this is by booking in for a Dexa scan or Body scan once a month. You can find these in your local community.

3. Why should you increase Muscle Mass? I know the first thing people think about when they think increasing "Muscle Mass" is looking like Dawyne The Rock Johnson. In Reality even having the slightest increase in Muscle Mass can decrease body fat. Unlike any other training Muscle Mass training burns more calories throughout the whole day due to the increase of your resting metabolism. Not only does it promote weight loss but muscle mass protects your bones, builds a stronger immune system, improved energy levels, and reduces stress.

4. How do i decrease Fat Mass? You can decrease Fat mass by watching out for your food groups or seeing a nutritionist that will assist you in a Food program because most fat loss is seen within dietary habits. Just like having Food program, you need a Exercise Program that should also match your goal and Food Program.

5.How do i increase Muscle Mass? by doing muscle hypertrophy training / weights training. so replace some cardio days with some weight training.
