Goodbye 2020!

Dear Alix,

This year is going to be your year. Like seriously this is going to be your year. The last couple of years have been rough and you deserve to be happy this year. This year you are going to finally do those things that you've been wanting to do for the longest time. You and Lucy are going to finally have the life that you guys deserve.

This year you're going to finally start school so you can become a teacher like you want. You're going to finally put your education first again like you used to before. You have some of the best people as your support system and there is no way that you can fail at this now. You've been working alongside one of the best teachers for the last three years and you have learned a lot. It's finally time for you to put all of what you learned to use. You can run your own classroom. You can do it. Stop letting your anxiety get in the way what you really want to do. If you keep thinking you're going to fail then that's what is going to happen. But seriously you can do it.

This is also the year you are going to find love. Once your divorce is finalized you are finally free to find that love you've been wanting and that you deserve. You deserve somebody that you can talk to. Somebody that you're not afraid to talk to because they won't dismiss you. They won't tell you to tough out your anxiety and fears but instead support you through it. They will tell you its okay. You'll find that one person that understands you and doesn't make you feel like you're not a priority. And for the love of God don't settle! Be picky. But also be happy.

Your business is going to boom this year. Put the love and effort that you put into the classroom into your business and it will go places. You are creative enough to pull this off, but you may need help with the business side of things. Let's face it girl you're not that great at business. You need some help in that department. Find the right person, combine that with your creativity and your business will go beyond your kitchen. Just remember it's going to be slow as hell at first. But keep working on it and advertising your products you are bound to attract some attention. And you will reap the benefits of it and when it prospers you and Lucy will have a better life.

This is also the year you're going to focus on your health finally. You're turning 27 and you're going to realize that your health is going to be the most important thing for you. You didn't care much about your health last year, that wasn't okay. This year that's going to change, especially with this pandemic getting worse and worse by the day. Start drinking water, eat healthier, etc. Not only is your health going to improve but your self confidence and self esteem too. You will finally be the woman on the outside that you feel on the inside. You can finally do those photoshoots you've been wanting to do for years.

2021 is also the start of a new decade. Leave everything that happened last year and start fresh this year. Let go of the hurt and the pain and embrace your future and the love you deserve. Chase after that better life you want for you and Lucy. You deserve it. You and Lucy both deserve it.

So don't settle this year. I promise it will get better. Chin up.
