When it comes to eating healthy, many individuals consider the word "carbs'' to be a terrible word and refuse to ingest them at all. However, it is a little more complicated than that. Are you familiar with the term "carbohydrate"? To help you gain a better understanding of carbs, we'll go through what carbs are and how they affect our bodies.
To begin, carbohydrates are any meal that is digested and converted to sugar. Carbohydrates are one of the three macronutrients that our bodies need, and they, along with protein and fat, provide the calories in our diet. If you've ever considered removing carbs entirely from your diet in order to lose weight, you're doing it wrong. You could be gaining weight without realizing it.

Types of Carbs:
In the form of food, there are two types of carbohydrates: simple carbs and complex carbs. You can see by the names that not all carbohydrate foods are created equal.
Simple carbs are foods that contain a shorter sugar chain, allowing them to be digested quickly and absorbed into our bloodstream. Simple carbohydrates make you hungry frequently, causing you to eat more food, resulting in weight gain. These are mostly low-quality carbohydrates that are empty of nutrients. Complex carbs, often known as "clever carbs," are made up of lengthy chains of sugar that take a little longer to digest and usually provide us with energy throughout the day. They're high in rich nutrients and high-quality fiber, which helps you lose weight by speeding up your metabolism, burning fat, and burning calories.
Should carbs be excluded?
Already, the answer is a big NO. Carbohydrates, being one of the body's three essential elements, should never be eliminated from the diet. If you want to lose weight, you can reduce the proportion or switch to a low-carb diet entirely. Because carbohydrates are the body's primary source of energy, eliminating them from your diet will allow your body to draw energy from stored fat.In the long run, this will weaken your body and put you vulnerable to a variety of diseases. It's not about excluding the carbs, but choosing it the right way. Now, what are carbs food which promotes health and should be avoided?
Whether it's a job for your career or carbs for your diet, it's all about making the proper decision. You already know what I'm talking about when I say "correct carbohydrates food." Yes, those foods are high in complex carbohydrates. Sweet potato, banana, beans, and whole grains are examples of healthy foods that supply us with a lot of fiber and excellent carbs, which moderate our hunger and prevent us from overeating.
Artificial sweeteners, processed and refined foods, drinks, and fast food must all be avoided if you wish to avoid bad carbohydrates. This may seem difficult for some, but even if you reduce your carb intake with the idea of 'reducing carbs,' you will crave them even more. They are high in sugar and low in fiber, both of which contribute to weight gain.
Eat in moderation and keep your mind sharp.
You've learned what carbs are, how to eat them, and how to avoid them. After all, we are all human beings, so craving cookies, burgers, pasta, drinks, and a variety of other foods is natural.Allow yourself a cheat day once or twice a month, and consume simple carbohydrates in moderation. However, do not remain idle after that; instead, exercise to burn those unhealthy ones out and prevent them from entering your bloodstream.
Even if you're not attempting to lose weight, it's a good idea to avoid harmful carbs for your overall health. These unhealthy ones, in the long term, cause heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and a slew of other problems.
Always remember what carbs you are eating.

Unprocessed or slightly processed whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and beans are the healthiest sources of carbs, providing vitamins, minerals, fiber, and a variety of phytonutrients.

Unhealthier sources of carbohydrates include white bread, pastries, sodas, and other highly processed or refined foods. These items contain easily digested carbohydrates that may contribute to weight gain, interfere with weight loss, and promote diabetes and heart disease.
