7 essential rules for a healthy life
In order to live a very long, but at the same time very good life, it is necessary to observe some essential rules for a healthy life and to follow a few simple steps day by day. This way you can lead a healthy and balanced life both physically and mentally. The main rules for avoiding the appearance of diseases later, or neglect of the body are:
1) compliance with a healthy diet. The consumption of the basic elements bread, pasta, dairy, eggs, meat, fruits, vegetables, fats and sweets should take place in an organized and balanced way and not according to preferences for a certain category of food. A healthy breakfast includes somewhere between a half and 3 quarters of a bowl of milk and cereal, a banana and half a glass of fruit juice. At the same time, according to nutritionists, we should consume 2 kilograms of fruits and 2 kilograms of vegetables a day as well as a glass of yogurt.
The key to a healthy diet is moderate consumption of food, pork or cow meat can be substituted by fish or chicken breast to reduce excess fat. Salt consumption should also be limited, which can be done by eating as many fresh foods as possible. Nutrition is not only the type of food consumed, but also the time of its consumption. For example, it is forbidden to consume them after 22 O'clock or before bedtime, there must be a periodic balance between the three main meals of the day.
2) consumption of liquids. A normal person should drink at least 1.5 liters of fluids per day. These liquids are represented by: water, teas, milk, fruit or vegetable juices and even coffee but in small doses. It is said, however, that drinking a glass of natural red wine during a meal is very healthy for the body. Drinking any other type of Alcoholic Beverage only harms the human body. Also should not consume excess water, there are some people who consider that 3-4 liters of water a day helps the weight loss process, but it is a totally false statement.
3) Smoking. Although it brings relaxation in the hardest moments, smoking is the number 1 enemy of the human body. Every year 33,000 people die in Romania from tobacco, 70% of them over the age of 35. The main effects of smoking are lung cancer, tuberculosis, throat cancer, also smoking leads to weight loss and yellowing of teeth. Despite the fact that some people try to lead a healthy life by avoiding smoking, sometimes it is inevitable to do so because they are exposed to passive smoking almost daily.
4)Physical exertion
The “fast-food” or “McDonalds " generations do not use to exercise almost at all, spending more and more time in front of the computer. There are enough 30 minutes a day to keep your body healthy and there are even simple methods: jogging, tennis, team sports like football or basketball, fitness exercises either at a professional gym or in your own home: push-ups, squats, pull-ups.
5) Rest. A healthy life also requires a lot of rest. Several theories say that during sleep a person relaxes his brain, stores important information and erases less significant ones. In general, a person should sleep between 8 and 10 hours a night. The most suitable time to sleep is 22-08, neglecting this period, or exceeding the hours of sleep can lead to states of fatigue, weight loss, physical collapse.
6) limit sun exposure. Although, for almost all Romanians, going to the beach means tanning and nothing else, not many people realize what dangers they expose themselves to when they stay too long in the sun. Radiation can cause instant burns but over time can lead to nerves that not only give the sensation of an unpleasant physical appearance, but can later even lead to deadly diseases such as skin cancer. It is recommended to avoid sun exposure between 11-16 hours, when the sun is strongest and to use protective creams in the areas most easily affected by the sun.
7) Overwork. A healthy life means a balance both mentally and physically. Work hours should be interrupted by a break of 10-15 minutes to relax, to restore mental balance. It is better to take more breaks than to work continuously and take a longer break at the end. Work fatigue leads to stress, nervousness and mistakes will automatically occur at work – which does not favor either the employer or the employee.
