It is important to have a healthy eating style, to pay attention to the way the food is prepared, and also to be aware of what you eat. By giving time to these actions, your body will be better nourished by what you have eaten.

The key to longevity is in your hands! Learn to respect your body and take care of it, to enjoy life as much as possible.

Among the tips that underlie a long life are a balanced diet, optimal fluid intake, exercise, optimal oxygenation of cells through proper breathing or stress management. These are just some of the steps you can take to begin the process of preparation for mediation.

1. Pay attention to the foods you eat

It is important to have a healthy eating style, to pay attention to the way the food is prepared, and also to be aware of what you eat. By giving time to these actions, your body will be better nourished by what you have eaten.

Try to eat slowly, when you are hungry, to chew enough, and not to consume liquids during the meal. While eating, do not think about anything else, do not watch TV, and avoid eating more than necessary. It is recommended that vegetables and fruits make up 60% of your daily diet.

Consume dairy and meat sparingly. The food you eat provides your body with nutrients that nourish the cells. Thus, you will gain energy and vitality.

Don't forget to hydrate properly! As a general rule, you should drink at least 2 liters of water daily.

2. Be active

Along with a healthy diet, exercise activates the immune system, can help you lose weight, prevent excess weight gain, reduce high blood pressure, control blood sugar and soothe muscle aches.

In addition, they support mental health and help strengthen the heart. A healthier heart pumps blood more efficiently, which improves blood circulation.

Physical activity prevents depression and reduces the risk of anxiety, helps you stay active and independent over the years, keeping your muscles strong, which will help maintain mobility as you get older.

3. Show interest in breathing

Proper breathing is the key to cell oxygenation, so it's important to know how to do it right:

  • Inhale through your nose
  • Inhale to the bottom of the lungs - let the stomach come out (known as the Buddha's breath)
  • Breathe slowly.

Breathing exercise:

  • Go through 10 breathing cycles 3 times a day as follows:
  • Inhale at number 1, hold your breath as long as you count to 4. Exhale until you count to 2. Remember to inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

4. Take care of your body

We all want to look our best, but a healthy body is not always about fitness. Developing and cultivating a positive body image and a healthy mental attitude is essential to your happiness and health.

Therefore, treat yourself properly! Use exfoliating masks, clean your skin, nourish your skin, take care of your hair, go to massage sessions.

The essential things for developing a healthy body image are the same for maintaining general health:

  • Healthy eating leads to healthy skin and hair, as well as strong bones;
  • Regular exercise increases self-esteem and energy;
  • Plenty of rest is the secret to controlling stress and energy masses.

It is easy to feel comfortable and do what is right for your body when you discover the things you like about it.

5. Practice meditation

Meditation or other methods of deep relaxation can radically improve your health. Relaxation lowers the levels of cortisol and epinephrine in the blood and supports the balance of biochemistry. This means balancing the arteries and preventing depression.

Six steps to excellent meditation:

  1. First practice to create energy and good circulation.
  2. Sit in a comfortable and balanced position. The spine should be straight, the muscles relaxed, the chin slightly inside. If you are sitting on a chair, distribute the weight evenly so that the hips are at the same level.
  3. Focus on breathing. Pay attention to how you inhale and exhale.
  4. Choose the meditation you will practice. Prepare to adopt the posture, movement, and type of breathing and/or sounds you will use.
  5. Once you start, let the flow of thoughts flow and move into the background. Focus on replacing any thoughts that concern you.
  6. Gradually increase meditation time - don't expect to become "enlightened" during the first session.

6. Trust yourself

Self-confidence is very important for your overall health. We are not born with this feeling of trust, it is a learned attitude. Most of the confidence-building is done in childhood, but that doesn't mean you can't learn how to be more confident now.

Five ways to increase confidence in just 7 days:

  1. Think about the things you fear and try to overcome this fear. If, for example, you are concerned about public speaking, then identify why this concern is related. Are you afraid that everything may go wrong, that people will not listen to you, that you will blush? Be as accurate as possible.
  2. Master positive mental repetition. Be aware of your fears and try to visualize how to overcome them.
  3. Small steps. Try to act gradually. Go to different stores, buy different foods, call a friend you haven't talked to in a long time, look people in the eye. Every time you do such actions, you strengthen your confidence without realizing that you are becoming more and more confident.
  4. Spend time with nice, confident people. It can be difficult when you lack self-confidence, but they will contaminate you with the confidence they have.
  5. Tell yourself that you are confident, but tell yourself this with great conviction. Affirmations are extremely powerful tools that can help you become more easily what you want to be. Is simple. If you want to be more confident, start telling yourself, "I'm getting more and more confident every day."
