Who had a strange thing she would do She'd sit on a chair And comb her own hair While drinking her morning shampoo. She'd pour it out into a glass And drink it down, oh so fast She said it was good For her hair, as it should But her friends just thought it was crass. They begged her to stop, but no use Sue just couldn't call a truce She loved her shampoo In a way that was new And continued her strange morning juice. So if you should happen to see A girl with a strange recipe Sitting on a chair With her combed-out hair Drinking her morning shampoo with glee.

The limerick tells the story of a girl named Sue who has a very peculiar habit. Instead of washing her hair with shampoo like most people do, she drinks it! Sue sits on a chair and combs her hair while sipping her shampoo from a glass. She claims that it's good for her hair and overall health, but her friends find the whole thing disgusting.

Despite her friends' protests, Sue refuses to stop drinking her morning shampoo. She loves it too much and sees nothing wrong with her unusual routine. The limerick ends with a tongue-in-cheek warning to anyone who might encounter Sue: if you see her sitting on a chair, drinking her shampoo and combing her hair with glee, don't be surprised!

Overall, the limerick is a playful commentary on our societal norms and the expectations we have around personal hygiene. It highlights the absurdity of drinking shampoo and the way that our habits and routines can seem strange or off-putting to others. At the same time, it celebrates Sue's individuality and her willingness to embrace a routine that makes her happy, even if it seems odd to others.

Whose dream was beyond askew He dreamed of a snack Of a shoe that he'd hack And munch on its leathery chew. He woke with a start in his bed Sweating and filled with much dread He thought it was just A dream he could thrust From his thoughts and sleep soundly instead. But as he looked down at his feet He realized in horror, defeat That his left shoe was gone In his bed, all alone He'd eaten it all, what a feat! Now every night as he sleeps He hopes that his dreams will not creep Into his mind and tempt Him to take a big bite and attempt To devour his footwear, a habit he'll keep.

The limerick tells the story of a man from Peru who has a very strange dream. In the dream, he imagines himself snacking on his own shoe, which he hacks and munches on as if it were a tasty treat. The man wakes up in a panic, realizing that the dream felt all too real.

To his horror, he discovers that he has actually eaten his left shoe, leaving nothing behind but a lone bed. The limerick ends with a darkly humorous twist, as the man confesses that he is now afraid to fall asleep, lest his dreams lead him to consume more of his own footwear.

Overall, the limerick is a playful and absurdist take on the idea of dreams and the strange things that can happen in our unconscious minds. It's also a clever commentary on the power of our dreams to shape our thoughts and actions, even in ways that we might not expect or understand. By using humor to explore this theme, the limerick invites us to think more deeply about the ways in which our inner worlds can influence our outer lives.
