Turn Water into Wine (Almost)

Is it Science, or Magick?

All right, you won’t be turning water into wine. But you could be turning really bad tap water into something that will satisfy you, or you could turn really bad wine into something pleasant.

Disclaimer: You don’t have to believe in anything, you don’t have to understand anything, all you have to do is spend 15 seconds holding your hands in a specific position on either side of a container of liquid of your choice.

Does it help if you are either religious or atheist? Honestly, I don’t know. I tend to think that this practice is more scientific than religious, because it seems to work without having to conjure, emote, believe, pray, make sacrifices or any other ceremonial ritual.

Here it is. Hold your left hand perpendicular to the surface of the table holding the glass (cup, jar, bottle, etc.). Fingers of this hand are together, pointing straight ahead, thumb pointing up to the ceiling.

In between the hands is the container of liquid. You can hold your hands right against the container or a little bit away from the container, especially if it is hot. It works either way.

Right hand has the knuckles flat against the surface of the table, the middle, ring and pinkie finger curled over the palm, thumb covering them. The index finger is pointing straight ahead.

Realize that this description is for the basic pose. When you get used to your hands in this position, you can move your hands in synch for side angles, top to bottom angles or any other way that you need, since not all liquids come in the form of a simple glass on a surface. Just keep the position of the hands together on either side of the container and in synch with each other.

Hold this position for the magical amount of time. Not sure what that is? Well, the liquid you are changing, charging or alchemizing will tell you. I find that 15-20 seconds is good. You might need a shorter amount of time. Or a longer amount of time. I find that I either get foggy about what I’m doing and start thinking of something else, which is a big clue, or I get the message from the liquid that it’s done.

And, yes, you heard me right. You are changing the water. You are charging it. You are alchemizing it. Any time you can take an ordinary glass of tap water and turn it into something that is now palatable, you have changed something in the molecular structure of that water.

You have also charged it. There is a potent stream of energy that comes from the human body. We can focus that energy when we send it through our hands as we do with this position. The energy from our hands creates an electrical impulse that resonates with the frequency of the water in the glass, which is one reason this works with liquids, because they have a lot of water.

And finally, you are alchemizing the water. You have taken the ‘lead’ of the water and turned it into ‘gold.’ What used to be dross is now highly valued and life-enhancing.

So, is it science? Or is it magick?

If you say its magic, maybe you haven’t been paying attention. You don’t have to believe to do this technique. You don’t have to believe in anything metaphysical or religious. It works for 99% of the people I’ve tried it with. If it doesn’t work for you, then maybe you’ve lost 15 seconds of time that you will never get back.

But if it does work for you then you can then scientifically prove that you can change bad water into good. You can see for yourself that holding a quite simple hand position for 15 seconds is the easiest way to change the world around you. It has also been quite a parlor trick for guests or parties. Having a group of people hold the hand position and then take a sip of their water is a fascinating experiment.

If you said it’s science, maybe you haven’t been paying attention. Oops, no, you have been! I believe science is at the bedrock of magick! You don’t perform true magick without there being science at the base. Anything that comes about through magick (magic refers to a showman’s trickery) that we don’t understand is just science that we haven’t figured out yet. Yet being the key word.

What to use it on? Tap water. Bottled water. Beer. Wine. Milk. Smoothies. In reality, anything with liquid in it is a prime candidate for this hand position. It makes everything taste better. If it can make Jilly Juice go down easier, that’s a total win.

This hand position makes things taste better for me. If you can’t tell the difference after trying this method, is it worth doing? Is it worth charging your water or other liquids? Perhaps. But that would involve scientific experimentation on your part to find out.

One of my favorite smoothies is bananas and grapefruit. I love this combination, although sometimes the grapefruit is a bit edgy. I do this hand position and it smooths the flavor out, takes the bitter out of the tartness of the grapefruit. If one pass of about 15 seconds doesn’t do it, I do another pass. If the container I’m drinking from is tall, I do one pass at the bottom, one at the middle and one at the top. There is no right way of doing this, it appears to work regardless of how many times you do it, for how long, or the angle of the hands (as long as they are in synch).

What do you have to lose? The awful taste of bad water or liquid. Afraid someone will laugh at you? Well, that’s an issue for another article. We can talk about phobias later. Just try this little hand position in private so many times that when you do it in public you will be so comfortable with it that people will hardly recognize that you are even doing anything out of the ordinary.
