You must then take opinions of your children related to different aspects of the new home such as colour of walls of their own room and living room. Give them the freedom to decorate their room in their own way, this way they will be excited to look forward to living in the new home.
Involve your children in the packing process
You must allow your children to pack their personal things during home shifting even though you have hired professionals. These could be anything like toys, clothes, books, etc. The whole packing process will keep them busy and prevent them from getting bored during the moving process. You must also involve them to decorate their boxes with stickers and attach their own labels to their boxes. You can also put the labels that bear the name of the child on the boxes which may enhance their excitement.
Make your children familiarise with the new place

You may take a walk in the neighbourhood and visit the local playground or recreational centre that will assist them to meet new neighbours and other people living in the same area. This will assure that the children will not be surprised after moving to the new place.
Take them to their favourite Spots
