The Difference Between You and Those Who Make it

You’ve got potential and wonderful ideas | They are courageous and take action

I mean not to be rude don’t get the wrong idea, but sometimes I see myself in you. Please! Get your sh#t together. Stop wasting pages with phrases about your new year resolution. You’ve been doing that for too long, not to mention how much you’ve failed to accomplish half of what you write about.

Start! Do something about it

Have you ever looked at someone like “ I could definitely do better than that guy” or “I’m definitely better than him, what do people see in that guy? What does he have that I don’t?”. Maybe you could probably come up with something better but, that’s the problem you never did. And, unless you change the way you do things you won’t be doing anything anytime soon.

Don’t bite my head off it’s just a probability. Procrastinating, and never doing a thing, sounds familiar? Put an end to that routine, it is nothing you should be proud of it’s draining all your potential away.

What if’s” are part of life

  • What if I never make it?
  • What if they take me for a fool?
  • What if people don’t buy from me?
  • What if I don’t make enough?
  • What if I fail?
  • If we had the answer to all possible questions by now we would probably have run out of questions already don’t you think? But, unfortunately we don’t which is why we have to accept certain risks when starting a business or choosing a course that will possibly lead to a career. We all start somewhere, but the end just like tomorrow is hard to predict. The possibility though still stands, we can change our tomorrow but that needs to happen, and it doesn’t need to be now but if the purpose is changing tomorrow then we need to do it today.

What if you succeed, but what if you never try? Those who can’t afford to take action don’t get to know the results. The mountain of “what if’s” keeps growing, and growing.

Remember your first job, what if you had failed that interview? Did that keep you from showing up? If you’re not ready to fail then you’re not ready for success either. Unfortunately there is no easy way out, the struggle is necessary, the struggle is real.

    Practice Makes Perfect

Self-explanatory? I thought so too. This is probably the oldest one in the book. If whatever you aim for requires practice do so until you’re ready. This doesn’t mean you should be shooting in the dark. You can either do it yourself if you already have direction, ask for help from skilled individuals, find yourself a coach, enroll in courses, or watch videos on YouTube, just to name a few things.

What best works for me won’t always do for you. Find what’s best for you and get informed, learn, practice, and take-off once you’re ready… Fly!

The sooner the better but, if you prepare yourself you’ll stand out from the many who may not know what to expect. Set a goal, have your expectations in mind give yourself enough time, make sure you’re ready for results.

Remember, good or bad results are still results. We learn from our failures, we learn from our mistakes, consider your mistakes a guide. Compared to someone who doesn’t know where they’re going a man with a guide can make of any ride an enjoyable vacation.

    Focus

One of the easiest things to do these days is to get distracted. I’m not talking about a single TV show or your favorite movie. It’s either you have a plan or you don’t. But, due to this, and that you may find yourself giving up on your plans, no longer chasing your dreams and putting your business ideas aside.

Someone close is doing something different, and that alone may change how you think and what you’re supposed to do. People go for what’s trending even when it isn’t necessary. My apologies, when is a trend necessary? Focus on your plans, dreams, and ideas. Focus on taking action everything else should follow eventually. If you’ve not yet decided on what to do, don’t just go for whatever opportunity comes your way because you might just give up a short time after.

    Patience

Things don’t happen overnight, at least not for everybody. Most of us have to work really hard for what we want, and some still fail after weeks, months, even years of sacrifice before calling it a quits. Wouldn’t you like to have a story to tell? Look into the biggest game changers in the world there is a story behind all of them good, and bad.

For you to gain experience in a certain field you must be active on that field at some point and it requires time, work, more time, more work in the end we get results. So, before you take that first step make sure you’re ready for every possible obstacle and overall make sure you’ve got time.

    The main ingredient

    … Is you.

Learn about what you’re about to do and prepare yourself. Start your tomorrow today. You want results? Work hard enough for results. Don’t put “if” before the struggle because that will prevent it all from happening.”If” you choose to invest your time and money you’ll get something in return, good or bad it is still something, which I promise you is better than nothing at all.

If you don’t take the chance to fail you’ll only have ideas to keep you company at night. Time flies don’t make it your enemy, waking up and asking yourself what you’ve done all your life is not the best feeling in the world. People who had the chance to do something with their lives and didn’t shed tears when such questions trouble their minds because they only have themselves to blame.

But, what do I know? I’ve had enough of this session with the mirror anyway, I should start doing something myself.

    Dear diary,

This is enough for the day.
