I firmly believe that if anyone can change the world, it's entrepreneurs. My mission is to help entrepreneurs become successful in their marketing campaigns. I believe in my client’s success more than my own.

Many companies and entrepreneurs want to reach 1 million followers on Instagram. They want to expand their business, increase sales and turn their Instagram account into a successful marketing channel. However, getting a million followers on Instagram is not easy. You have to deal with all types of social media gurus giving you the promises to help you grow your account but don’t deliver on their promises. Here you can learn my secrets about how I got 1 million followers on Instagram in 3 months, attracting tons of real and targeted users. My journey began on the 22nd of August in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

BELOW ARE MY TOP SECRETS WHICH MADE ME REACH 1 MILLION OF FOLLOWERS ON INSTAGRAM IN 3 MONTHS:

• Do not post consecutively.

Generally, I recommend posting at least once a day to maximize your visibility and engagement. However, if you have more time and resources, you can post multiple times a day, or even several times a week.

• I don't push people into buying my products or services.

When I decided to reach a million followers, my goal was not to lure anyone to what I could offer, but to always keep them engaged. For you to grow your Instagram handle you need to avoid being salesy to your followers.

• I don't inundate myself with hashtags every time.

Even if there's no firm limit on hashtags, it doesn't mean you should use as many as possible. Overloading your posts with hashtags can make them look spammy — both to the ranking algorithms and to your followers.

• I don't target everyone I follow as my potential followers.

• I avoided posting long videos.

For Feed videos, the algorithm considers slightly different signals to boost your videos. However, video length still plays a role. If your video post is longer than 60 seconds, then a preview will be played in the feed and users can choose to watch the remainder of the video on your profile.

In fact, shorter videos tend to perform better because, let's face it, viewers don't have a very long attention span. Videos that are around 26 seconds long have been shown to perform best, so try to make sure you keep your videos informative, visually appealing, and to the point.

• Steer clear from negative posts because it can be a turn-off for people.

Negative comments on social media can only damage my brand's reputation if they go unanswered. Ignoring a negative comment would not only give another reason for the angry client to dislike my brand online, but will also damage my social proof.

• I don't repeat the same content over and over again.

By doing this, not only do you run the risk of your audience seeing a repeated post and getting bored or frustrated at repetition, your social media strategy will come across as dull and flat.

• Do not ask people to follow you routinely.

From my own personal experience, I'd say avoid asking Instagrammers to follow you back. It looks pretty spammy. If you're genuinely engaging and posting quality content, then people will follow you eventually.

• Avoid posting too much of your personal life to protect yourself from possible threats and harm.

Your private information is important to you, putting that up for everyone to know about is a dangerous move. Some people would try to do bad things using your private information, like creating a fake account, using your number for scams, hacking your account.

These secrets have gone a long way for me and have made me reach out to a lot of people. Days after I gained 1 million followers, my inbox tripled with messages due to the fact that I was solving people's problems and changing lives. So, I decided to monetize my Instagram handle by playing the role of a coach and consultant in the health and parenting niche.

There are over 300 million daily active Instagram users, with an average of 70 million photos posted each day. This is a market that’s booming, and there’s no better time to get in on it.In the end, Instagram is a platform where you can build your business and reach your audience. A large part of that is due to the social interaction aspect of the platform. People enjoy going to your profile and seeing what you’re up to and what you have going on.

They like to follow you and engage with you because they like your personality. This relates to one of my first point, where it’s important to not be spammy on your personal account if you want people to follow your brand as well. Be yourself and be consistent with posting content that will resonate with people’s interests.
