Love is not just a feeling, it is a lifelong responsibility.
A story of love
"Waiting in the Window"
Love is a beautiful chapter in life
--
Chapter 1: Amelia is a girl from a simple family. On the other hand, Aiden is the son of a middle-class family. Amelia and Aiden have loved each other very much since childhood.
Aiden works in a small company.
His company decides to send Aiden abroad for a three-year project. When Aiden tells Amelia this, a shadow of pain falls on Amelia's heart and Amelia requests Aiden not to go. But if Aiden doesn't go, he won't have a job. She agrees to go out of fear.
Chapter 2: Finally, the day of farewell approaches
Aiden: "Amelia, the plane is at 8 am. I'll leave a little earlier."
Aiden's voice is filled with excitement. His first big project abroad, for three years. Being able to go to a city like London means a lot.
Amelia was standing quietly by the balcony. Tears were in her eyes, but she wanted to say goodbye with a smile.
"Aiden ... you'll definitely come back, right?"
"You know I will. You're my last address, Amelia."
Amelia wanted him to say—call every day, at least say "I love you" once. But Aiden just said,
"I'll write you a letter every day. One day you'll get all the letters together."
Aiden was in a hurry to catch the plane, but that moment seemed to stop for both of them like their whole lives.

Chapter 3: The First Days of Letters
After Aiden went to London, there was no contact between the two of them, no phone calls, no letters. Amelia started thinking about various things.
Suddenly one day there was a knock on the door. Amelia opened the door and saw the postman arrive with many letters. For the first few weeks, Amelia seemed to have entered a new life. Every day a new letter—sometimes on paper, sometimes on postcards.
The snowfall in London, talk of the coffee shop, the challenges of the new office, and occasionally a poem or two mixed with affection.
Amelia would arrange the letters. Her love map was being created envelope by envelope. She would count them—today is the 22nd letter. Tomorrow will surely be the 23rd.
The days went by like this.

Then
Chapter 4: The Slow Silence
But after three months, there was a break between the letters.
Once a week, then once a month.
Amelia wasn't scared at first. She thought it was work pressure, lack of time.
But after six months, no more letters came.
Friends and family all said—Aiden's life had changed. Maybe love had changed.
Amelia wouldn't say anything. She would sit on the balcony, tears streaming down her eyes. She would stand waiting by the familiar window, from where she had said goodbye to Aiden one day.
---
Chapter 5: Finding Herself
Amelia didn't break down. Inside, she became stronger.
She took a job at a school, teaching children to draw.
Every day, she looked for new hope in small faces.
But at night, alone in the room, she would smell the old envelopes. She would read some letters over and over again.
"Amelia, I don't know what the future will bring. But right now, I can't think of anything else but you."
This line made Amelia tremble in her heart.
---
Chapter 6: Return
Exactly three years later—on a stormy night, there was a knock on the door.
As Amelia opened it, the man standing in front of her seemed unreal.
Aiden. Tired eyes, some packages in his hand, but that old illusion in his eyes.
"Amelia... I know I stopped writing. But I didn't stop loving you. I was broken. My father's death, the shock of work, and losing myself... I didn't dare to return to you."
Amelia didn't say anything. She slowly walked forward and rested her head on his shoulder.
Without words, without language—their hearts told each other everything.

The Last Chapter: A New Beginning
They never went back to the old ways. Because people and relationships change.
But love? That remains even after time.
Trisha and Aryan now write new stories together, every day, not in new letters—in reality.
