IF YOU’RE BORED AT HOME READ THIS!
Do you ever get those moments where you’re stuck at home and clueless on how to entertain yourself? Here is a list of five things to do if you’re bored at home and have nothing to do!

1. WRITE DOWN YOUR FEELINGS
Any time can be a challenging time for many of us. There isn’t always an opportunity to express how we feel to others and even if there is, would you feel comfortable enough to be one hundred percent honest and really go in depth to why you feel the way you do? If you have that person in your life, you’re a lucky one but I for one, don't. We all live different lives and have things that keep us either occupied or distracted. So much so, that we forget to acknowledge others’ emotions and well beings. In instances like this it’s always beneficial to take the time to write down how you feel whether you want to do this on a daily basis or a weekly basis is up to you, but it’s a good practice to do in general and rather therapeutic. It’s always good to be transparent with yourself instead keeping it all bundled up inside. Know that it is okay to feel scared, upset, depressed or angry; we've all felt emotions like that before. Address your feelings and embrace them in their entirety so that you can actively take steps towards feeling better.
2. CHILL IN YOUR GARDEN AND ADMIRE THE VIEW
It’s approaching summer so the weather is looking quite delightful at the moment and feels just as good. So why not make yourself a smoothie or any type of beverage, head to your back garden and take in the view? Free your mind for a little while. Soak in the sun. feel the peace as you’re in it.
3. BAKE
Cookies, cupcakes and cheesecakes are a few of my favourite things to bake. baking is such a great hobby and pastime. Not only does it satisfy your sweet tooth, they also inspire you to get creative! You can decorate however you like and add in your own personal touch to make it extra special; taste wise and artistic wise. What’s even more intriguing about baking, is that it can actually be very rewarding when you put in the elbow grease into making your fine dessert and being able to witness what you baked, come out the way it’s supposed to. Even if it doesn't, it won’t mean that you've flopped, no, it actually means that you've just given your dessert a bit of personality!
4. WATCH FILMS
There's never a bad time to watch a film and the beauty of watching films is that there's an array of them! All different types of genres for the mood you're in. You can do “all-dayers” or “all-nighters” ; it's all at your discretion. It’s always fun to mix up the genres in my opinion; maybe start with one that you’re in the mood for, followed by the complete opposite genre to the one you just watched. I like to end my day with a scare so I’d watch a psychological horror just to tip myself over the edge of my seat for the fun of it but if you’re the type that likes to end your day with a laugh, then of course a comedy is for you! In that case, can I just take the opportunity to suggest a couple of movies to you? Alright so Pineapple Express, Superbad and Stretch had me laughing hysterically; you have to watch them!
5. PAINT
I admit, I'm no Van Gogh at drawing but I do it anyway. I like to be inventive and exercise my mind. I like to look at something and interpret another way than what is presented to me. You can do a lot with imagination and colour. I like that there is no rule to painting. Anything can be seen as a piece of art depending on how people view your work; as they say “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” I find that painting is refreshing, entertaining and gives you a chance to get your hands messy for the hell of it.
