I Tried Adding This to My Coffee for a Week! Here’s What Happened

I swapped my usual coffee add-ins for something new and in just seven days, my energy, cravings, and waistline started to change.

I’ve always been a coffee person.

From the smell of fresh beans to that first sip in the morning, it’s the part of my day I look forward to the most.

But recently, I’d been feeling stuck. My mornings were fine, but not great. I had energy for a little while, then I’d crash. I’d get cravings mid-morning, and my focus was all over the place.

So when I heard about people adding a special powder to their coffee to boost energy, curb cravings, and even support fat burning, I was curious, but skeptical.

Still, I figured: what’s one week?

☕ Day 1: The First Try

I kept my usual morning routine the same, water first, a few minutes of light movement, then my coffee.

But instead of my usual milk and sugar, I drank it black and stirred in a scoop of the powder.

It was tasteless, which was a relief. No weird flavor, no gritty texture, just my normal coffee.

By the time I finished the cup, I noticed something surprising: I didn’t feel that “racing” caffeine buzz. I felt awake, but calm. Focused, but not jittery.

⚡ Days 2–3: The Energy Shift

On the second and third mornings, I started to see a pattern.

Normally, my energy peaks for an hour and then drops, sending me looking for another coffee. But now, the boost was steady.

Even better, I wasn’t thinking about snacks. My usual mid-morning craving for something sweet just… didn’t happen.

I could work straight through until lunch without distraction.

🍽️ Days 4–5: Cravings, What Cravings?

By the fourth day, I realized how much this change was helping me control my appetite.

I wasn’t overeating at lunch, and I wasn’t rummaging through the pantry at 3 p.m. The powder was doing more than keeping me awake, it was keeping me satisfied.

I also noticed I felt less bloated, which I think came from cutting out the milk and sugar I used to add.

🔥 Days 6–7: The Bonus I Didn’t Expect

By the end of the week, there was another difference I hadn’t anticipated: my clothes felt looser around the waist.

I hadn’t done anything different in my workouts or meals, the only change was my coffee.

That’s when it hit me: I wasn’t just avoiding extra snacks; I was actually burning more fat.

💡 Why This Worked

Here’s what I learned:

Black coffee already helps boost metabolism and fat oxidation.

Adding the right nutrients gives your body what it needs to use that caffeine effectively, without the crash.

The powder I used is made from natural ingredients designed to:

Support metabolism

Boost energy without jitters

Control appetite

Reduce cravings

Instead of a quick caffeine high, I was getting sustained energy, better focus, and fewer calories overall, which led to fat loss without even trying.

🧠 What I’ll Do Going Forward

This isn’t a one-week experiment anymore. I’ve decided to keep this as part of my routine.

Why? Because it’s simple, it works, and it fits my lifestyle.

I don’t have to overhaul my diet or spend more time at the gym. I just tweak my coffee, something I was drinking anyway.

✋ The Takeaway

If you love coffee and want more energy, fewer cravings, and maybe even a smaller waistline, try this:

Drink water first

Move for a few minutes

Switch to black coffee

Add a clean, metabolism-boosting powder (link in bio)

Give it a week. Pay attention to your energy, focus, and appetite. You might be as surprised as I was.

👉 Curious about the powder I used in my experiment?

I’ve linked it in the bio, try it for a week and see what happens.
