All you need in making gel candles are:

7.Small Glass jars: You should get around a dozen small glass jars. I found my glass yoghurt jars worked well. You can also buy new jars in a variety of fun shapes and sizes off Amazon.

8.Double boiler

9. Perfume or gel candle scent

Things for decoration purpose like ribbon, shells, start etc

How to make gel candles 🕯️ step by step

  1. Take a saucepan and put some water into it.
  2. Make sure that the level of the water must be low and it doesn’t come inside the glass containers when it boils Put glass containers inside the saucepan.
  3. Make sure the glass containers must be oven free. You can use a double boiler for this purpose.
  4. Now put some gel inside the containers. Gels are easily available in the market.
  5. The gel takes few seconds to boil so make sure you do all the procedure fast in low flame. Add little coconut oil into a gel.
  6. Add crayons or dye to add colour. You can add any colour as per your requirements.
  7. Take brighter shade to give your gel candles unique and eye-catching appeal.
  8. Now add scent to add fragrance to your gel candles. You can take 1/3 spoon of scents for fragrance.
  9. You can choose any fragrance as per your choice.
  10. Perfume/ Doe bottles can also be used in this regard. Now take candle containers that you want to create the gel candles.
  11. You can be a bit creative here. You can use any containers of any shape and size. You can too use orange peel for this purpose. Now place a zinc wick here.
  12. The cotton wick must be avoided in the case of gel candles as cotton absorbed the gel and hence prove to be dreadful for this purpose.
  13. You can place the zinc wick with the help of the pencil.
  14. Now slowly pour the wax into the container.
  15. Let it sit for 4-5 hours untouched. After that, you can decorate your get candles with glitters, images and stickers.

You can too use ribbons for gifting 🎁 purpose.

Now your gel candle is ready and you can use it to increase the decor of your living room, bedroom or you can use this as a gift to your friends and family.
