How to build your digital brain to learn More
Build your digital brain
Our brain is an exciting part of us. It allows us to hear all kinds of information and is more powerful than any large computer. But no matter how powerful our brains are, there are many people who find it difficult to store information and use it.
That’s as clear as you can probably think of one or more people who are able to store even the most basic information.
The thing is, it's not really a secret. It's just that most people don't realize that these people are developing digital brains. Think of it as a second brain with a lot of information that you can get into.
It is a valuable asset to you and in this four-step process, I will be teaching you how to improve one.
Step 1: Record
Once you've discarded those myths, the next step is to get used to the recording. Recording takes raw data and embedded it in your digital brain. When you find new information, do the following:
First, filter - make only the last point of the relevant information that you plan to use and use.
Second, fill in quickly - Use the app to download information quickly. To be more precise, take pictures or use keywords and write only what you need.
Finally, fire and forget - Treat your brain like an inbox when recording - save information and edit it later.
Step 2: Planning
Once you've recorded the details, the next thing you need to do is edit that information. Thinking of your brain as an inbox, combined with all sorts of emails and messages. Some of them are important and some are not.
Because we can store so much, it is important that you have some way of organizing everything. Here are some suggestions on how to do this:
Notes app - Evernote, an automatic note-taking app, anything like that will be a great place to keep idle thoughts that can be edited over time.
Tag system - Tagging is a great way to differentiate everything. Make sure the tags are clear enough to identify the total and wide so that it can cover more of the area. For example, using a brand new "new" will not help and something like "trading" will be suitable for a variety of topics.
Installing 4 Ws - For full details, complete the 4 Ws help. Who; Why did you save it; Who plans to do it; When you need to use it.
Step 3: Remember About Separated Repetition
After you have stored the information properly, you will need to remember and use that information. Another solid way to use information is to do separate duplication. It works like this:
The more you come in contact with certain details, the less likely you will be to refresh your memory.
The technique of repetitive retrieval puts a certain map even though I taught it in the Learn Anything Quickly at Lifehack Academy. Here is the abbreviated version:
First update your notes - Do this within the first 24 hours of first access.
Second, remember - Do this after the day is over and in a natural moment. As when relaxing or walking.
Third, remember - Do this step every 24-36 hours over the next few days. Feel free to check your notes again, but only if you absolutely need it.
Fourth, read again - After a week, remove the tool and read it again.
With these steps, you will be able to improve your Digital Brain to open up more learning and creative space. Use your brain wisely and you will be amazed at your brain skills!
