How to Automate Your YouTube Channel Wisely & Efficiently for Growth
Trying to automate my YouTube channels.

Automation is a hot topic these days.
From self-driving cars to voice recognition for search, to AI writing assistants helping copywriters save time and energy.
But what about automating video creation on the YouTube channel.
I know that the word “automate” is not the best word you can associate with video content creation.
But every single YouTuber knows, how long it takes to publish a video.
From editing to audio mixing, video content creation is a time-consuming and tedious task for any business.
Therefore, I believe that automation can make the process faster and more efficient.
If you are distracted from the word “automation”, let's substitute it with a similar word: outsourcing.
Everything should be clearer at once.
Why You Should Automate Your YouTube Channel
I have learned one important thing as a blogger and website owner… The time is against me.
Publishing high-quality content is hard, it takes a lot of time, research, and editing.
I learned that the hard way. It took me 3-5 days to write a 5,000-word article with research. I was trying to publish 5 articles per month, but there are people in my niche who were publishing daily.
You can't compete with such websites until you play the same game.
That's why I started outsourcing the written content. Yes, you need to pay for the content, but after you find competent writers, your can only benefit from it.
So, after I stepped into the world of outsourcing, I bought another website, and then more and more. At this moment, I have four websites in my portfolio.
And at some point, I decided to create a YouTube channel for each website I own.
That is why I ended up with four YouTube channels in four different niches.
And I started thinking what if I started outsourcing even the video creation process.
However, there are many differences between blogging and video content.
To make a good video you can publish on YouTube, you have to do keyword research, write the script, record the video, make a voice over, edit the video, create an eye-catching thumbnail, and then write a title and description.
It's really a lot of work, but you can get more viewers to one single video than to your blog post.
And because I have to publish tons of videos across all my channels, I have started outsourcing some steps in video creation.
At first, I hired a person to make a thumbnail, then I hired someone to write a script and then I hired a voiceover actor to get a professional narration to my video.
To be honest, one video cost me around $50 to make, and in my opinion, it wasn't worth it.
So, I decided to take the next step. Step into the future.
I have started to use AI to create my videos.
Using AI to Automate my YouTube Channel

While it sounds futuristic, it is quite simple.
We already have tools that can help you write a video script faster and cheaper than you think. I'm talking about AI writers like Jasper or Rytr.
If you take into account that a script for an 8-minute video should have at least 1,500 words then such a script can cost you at least $30.
This is the price of a one-month subscription for these AI writers. 1:0 - AI.
And you can even imagine how expensive a voice over is for such a long video? I'm talking about $40+ for a decent voice over. Luckily, with the advanced technology, we all can use tools like Murf.ai which offers a human-like voiceover with a commercial license.
And the price for the monthly subscription for this web-based tool is cheaper than what I have paid for one voice artist. 2:0 AI.
At the moment, 2 out of 4 YouTube channels are already monetized and they are growing each month.

Conclusion
We are still at the beginning of AI technology, and its use on YouTube is also still limited. I'm talking about the narration of videos with AI voices.
It is hard to find a natural-sounding, non-robotic voice you can use. And there is still no official statement from YouTube if text-to-speech software can be eligible to use for monetizing videos.
As I already said, we are at the beginning.
Time will tell us if the use of AI on YouTube is worth the investment, and right now, I'm using it to save me money and time.
In my opinion, YouTube automation is worth trying.
