Free Game Friday: 🧠The Root Cause of Stuckness & 4 More Game-Changing Affirmation Takeaways
5 Actionable Lessons from our Pulse 101.3 Radio Interview

Hello, Star Players! This past Tuesday, I had a great interview with Pulse 101.3! For your "Free Game Friday," here is a summary of 5 Key Actionable Takeaways from our conversation with the station. These points reinforce the core mission of Celestial Content Creations, providing concrete actions for your ascension.
5 Key Actionable Takeaways from the Pulse 101.3 Interview
1. Address the Root Cause: Shift Your Inner Narrative
The Problem: The root of career and life stagnation often lies not in a poor resume, but in negative self-talk, imposter syndrome, and performance anxiety (the three trends I noticed with 300+ career consultation clients).
The Action: Pivot from a "Band-Aid" fix (like a resume) to a "Root Cause" solution (affirmations). Star Players should begin the process of "retraining their brain" by consciously shifting their negative internal talk tracks to new, empowering ones. This is a scientific process of repetition, not just wishful thinking.
2. Gamify Your Routine to Achieve Repetition
The Insight: The path to rewiring the brain requires repetition, and simply owning a book isn't enough to build a daily habit. Our solution was the CCC Tiny Book of Affirmations to gamify the process.
The Action: Incorporate affirmations into a daily ritual. Just as we did with our social media posts (the "daily pick three affirmations"). Star Players should make affirmation practice engaging and routine. You can purchase and use the CCC Tiny Book of Affirmations card deck to facilitate this essential daily practice.
3. Start Small and Honor Your Pace
The Lesson: Success doesn't mean being a lip gloss start up to "Fenty tomorrow." It means honoring your unique journey.
The Action: Take the first, non-intimidating step. For a new business idea, that might mean just documenting and writing down ideas in a notebook or phone app. For personal growth, it means starting small with affirmations and being patient with the idea's pace of manifestation.
4. Networking Is the Engine for Advancement
The Insight: When explaining my journey from Baton Rouge to New York, my "bread and butter" was how I marketed myself and the success that came from it. "A lot of the success comes from networking, honestly."
The Action: Actively leverage your network. Star Players should ask themselves, "Who in my network can help facilitate my idea forward?" Building confidence and self-reliance (through affirmations) is what allows you to confidently take up space and network for those "pie in the sky opportunities" like Google or NBC.
5. Your Lived Experience Is Your Best Teacher
The Insight: My journey as a Black woman in corporate America, navigating microaggressions, was my "teacher." I noted the mental fortitude it takes to keep showing up with grace because you know you belong.
The Action: Transform corporate challenges and microaggressions into powerful lessons. Star Players should recognize their willingness to show up every day, even when it's tough, builds the wisdom and experience needed to confidently lead others. As I said, "You have to be in the trenches and get the experience" to confidently pass down the knowledge.
This essentially summarizes the topics we covered during the show.
