Don 'T Buy What Will Then Turn Into Bullshit

Very important aspects are monetary relations, which in our world occupy almost the leading role.

Do not buy what later turns into trash.

If you want to buy some not very necessary and important thing, then first count how much you earn per hour and how many hours you will have to work to earn on this thing. Are you ready to work 50 days just to buy a phone of a new model (taking into account that you won’t buy anything else)? Are you ready to work 360 hours just to buy another red handbag?

This method, in general, will help you look at things from the other side and, with a higher degree of self-esteem, refuse another impulse purchase of not very necessary things.

Before you buy something expensive

Many people like to say that "I'm not too rich to buy cheap." In some cases, this is relevant, but everything is relative. In addition, not everyone understands the meaning of these words correctly. Often the more expensive is better, but to what extent can the price go? Which is better: buy a new bag that will last a year or more expensive (3 times more expensive) and high-quality that will last 2 years? (Haha, I have to go in the same bag for 2 years? A nightmare!)

So, how to decide for yourself whether you need to pay more for quality or not? First, answer these questions (before opening your wallet).

1. How long are you going to use this?

Be honest with yourself and don’t have to come up with an excuse if you really don’t need it. For example, if you are going to buy a new bread machine like your neighbors, how often do you plan to bake bread? Will you get tired of it already in the second week (buy ingredients, cook, wait), when you can run to the store in a couple of minutes? The same applies to expensive clothes, bags, wallets.

2. Do you really need this super quality?

If you have "money not chickens", then you can afford the best quality goods (pff, will they read this article? No, of course, this is so, for comparison). But in fact, you need to understand in advance for yourself what level of quality is acceptable to you (and not to cross this line). But act rationally - you do not need to buy the cheapest, which can lead to additional problems (for example, you should not buy the cheapest oil for your new BMW, which can lead to additional repairs and costs).

3. Is there an opportunity to buy cheaper, but of the same quality?

Check if there are any similar products that are not so “branded”, but are not inferior in quality (especially if everything is “Made in China”). Other stores may offer the same product at a discount. You can also find discount coupons at special discount services. Do not be too lazy to conduct a small price analysis, it will bring you monetary benefits. As an option, you can consider buying a used product (if it was originally of excellent quality, it can preserve its condition over time).

4. Is the product really good quality?

This tip applies to cases when you order goods online. Anything can write, they can put a beautiful picture. But in fact, the product may be of unsatisfactory quality. Additionally, read reviews and consider the conditions for returning goods if you are not satisfied with the quality.

I wish you rationality if you are not indifferent to your finances. And increase your financial literacy!
